Abstract: A packaging inspection and verification system and method are applied to products to be packaged. An identification device reads type barcodes of the products and labels affixed to packing boxes for receiving product accessories. A processing unit obtains from a database barcodes of the accessories according to the type barcodes, and determines consistency between the labels affixed to the packing boxes and the barcodes of the accessories, if not consistent, generating a signal indicating an error occurring in the product accessories. The identification device reads ID codes of the products and labels affixed to cartons for receiving the products. The processing unit obtains from another database barcodes of the products according to the ID codes, and determines consistency between the labels affixed to the cartons and the barcodes of the products, if not consistent, generating a signal indicating an error occurring in the labels affixed to the cartons.

Abstract: A method and a system for automatic categorization and packaging of the present invention that, based on pre-selected information, automatically arranges a plurality of cargoes on pallets to fill up spaces in the pallets that are not fully occupied, thereby effectively using storage spaces in cargo transport so as to save transportation costs. The automatic categorization and packaging system comprises at least a data accessing module, a pallet arranging module, a pallet capacity determining module, a pallet consolidating module, and a data outputting module for being used in combination with the method to perform the pallet consolidation. Further, information of the process of pallet consolidation is outputted to a management system for allowing production administrators to effectively control flows of cargoes and pallets and increase efficiency of production management as a result.

Abstract: A television with number displaying function is provided to allow a user waiting in a queue to see the queue number simultaneously while watching a television program. The television with number displaying function comprises a display unit for showing television program as well as number at the same time; a wireless controlling device for providing a number controller remotely for altering the number and the way it is displayed on the display unit; a receiver for receiving a signal sent by the wireless controlling device, and a controlling unit for implementing the program stored in a memory unit according to the signal received by the receiver. This eliminates the need for the user to check from time to time the queue number being called upon and also reduces the possibility of missing the queue number when the user is too concentrated in watching television, when the queue number is conventionally displayed in a separate device from the television.

Abstract: A system and a method for examining component/accessory assembly of a product are provided for allowing a user to determine whether there are omitted or extra added components/accessories for a product ready for output. The system includes a product database for storing product related information such as product name, product weight and so on; a data input module for allowing the user to input the product related information such as product number and so on; a measuring module for measuring an actual weight of the product; a calculating module for calculating a value of difference between the actual weight and a standard weight of the product; a data accessing module for storing the standard weight and the actual weight of the product into the product database; and a data display module for displaying a warning message if the value of difference for the product exceeds a predetermined value range.

Abstract: A weight estimating system and a weight estimating method are proposed for products of orders. The weight estimating system includes an order database for storing order related data for clients; a pallet database for storing pallet weights and product quantities per pallet; a declaration product list database for storing data required for declaration; a data inputting module for allowing a user to establish the order and pallet databases and select an order to be declared; a weight estimating module for calculating estimated product weights of each order; and a data accessing module for storing the estimated product weights of each order calculated by the weight estimating module into the order database, the estimated product weights serving as reference for declaration. This avoids delay of the time of declaration and delay of export of products due to failure in timely measuring weights of the products.
