Abstract: A framework may be provided for facilitating adoption of mathematical and logical solvers. A model, representing a problem, may be defined. The model may be defined: via a series of statements in a type safe common-language-specification compliant modeling language; via an intermediate format; or via a series of calls to a standardized application program interface. The framework may translate the defined model to an intermediate format, which many solvers may understand. The framework may provide a number of solver-related services including, but not limited to, services for creating a model, analyzing a model, selecting a well-suited solver based on analysis of a model, decomposing a model into multiple sub-models and providing the multiple sub-models to multiple solvers as multiple parallel threads, data binding, simulation, and post optimality analysis.

Abstract: A permanent magnet motor has a rotor and a stator. The rotor has a shaft, a rotor core and commutator fixed to the shaft, and rotor windings wound about poles of the rotor core and electrically connected to the commutator. The stator has an axially extending round housing, a ring magnet member fixed to an inner surface of the round housing, an endcap, and at least one pair of brushes in sliding contact with the commutator. A chamber is formed by the housing and the endcap. The commutator is disposed in the chamber. A window lift device incorporating the motor is also provided.

Abstract: A cartridge or injector for holding and mixing a medical product is provided herein including a tubular body having a cylindrical wall having first and second opposing ends. The wall includes inner and outer surfaces with the inner surface having a generally constant cross-section along at least a drug mixing area. A first stopper is slidably disposed within the wall between the first and second ends, the first stopper defining a liquid-tight seal with the inner surface. A second stopper is slidably disposed within the wall between the first stopper and the first end, the second stopper defining a liquid-tight seal with the inner surface. A flexible insert is disposed at or in proximity to the second end, the insert forming a liquid-tight seal with the wall, the insert being pierceable by a medical needle or other piercing instrument. A rigid retainer is fixed to the wall having an opening therein for providing access to the insert for piercing by a medical needle.

Abstract: A server set includes a first video server, a second video server and a joint member. A first surface of the first video server has a first fastening groove, and the first fastening groove has a first chute portion and a first intermediate portion. The second video server has a second surface, in which the second surface has a second fastening groove, and the second fastening groove has a second chute portion and a second intermediate portion. A main body portion of the joint member corresponds to and is accommodated in the first intermediate portion and the second intermediate portion. A first hook portion and a second hook portion are accommodated in and hooked with the first chute portion and the second chute portion respectively, so that the first video server is connected with the second video server through the joint member.

Abstract: A pen needle assembly is provided herein for use with a medical injector containing an injector body and a reservoir sealed by a septum encased in the injector body. The pen needle assembly includes a hub and a needle fixed to the hub. The hub is formed to be telescopingly mounted onto a distal end of the injector body using a track that accommodates a guide key. When mounting the hub of the pen needle assembly onto the injector body, a first portion of the track is configured to receive the guide key and to guide the guide key in a straight line across sufficient distance to permit a proximal end of the needle to fully pierce through the septum, without rotation of the needle. A second portion of the track is configured to permit the pen needle assembly to be turned with the proximal end of the needle being located proximally of the septum.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to increasing the efficacy of agricultural chemicals. This can be achieved by applying at least one agricultural chemical to a plant or plant seed under conditions effective for the agricultural chemical to perform its intended function and applying at least one hypersensitive response elicitor protein or polypeptide to the plant or plant seed under conditions effective to increase the efficacy of the agricultural chemical. Alternatively, the present invention relates to a method for increasing the efficacy of agricultural chemicals by applying an agricultural chemical to a transgenic plants or transgenic seeds transformed with nucleic acid molecule which encodes a hypersensitive response elicitor protein or polypeptide, wherein the agricultural chemical is applied under conditions effective for the agricultural chemical to perform its intended function but with increased efficacy.

Abstract: A radio frequency front end circuit module for a receiver used in a digital television is disclosed. The radio frequency front end circuit module includes a switch set, a differential low noise amplifier, a filter, and a tuner. The switch set receives two differential signals. The differential low noise amplifier is electrically coupled to the switch set for amplifying the two differential signals. The filter is electrically coupled to the differential low noise amplifier for filtering out portions which are excluded in a predetermined bandwidth of the two amplified differential signals. The tuner determines how to control the switch set to select the two differential signals in the predetermined bandwidth according to the filtered differential signals. The present invention is capable of amplifying the received differential signals and rejecting noise which has the same phase as that of the received differential signals.

Abstract: Deasphalted residual oil (DAO) and the aromatics-rich extract that is derived from DAO have low polycyclic aromatics contents, relatively low aniline points, and high flash points. They form blending stocks that improve properties of mixed feedstocks to consistently produce environmentally qualified rubber processing oil (RPO) by extraction under low solvent-to-oil ratios and moderate extraction temperatures. Distilling a petroleum crude oil under atmospheric pressure generates a bottom residual oil which is then subject to vacuum distillation to yield a bottom residual oil. DAO is produced by removing the asphalt from the vacuum bottom residual oil through extraction with light paraffinic solvent. The extract of DAO is a co-product in the production of the bright stock of the lubricating oil through extraction. The feedstock is mixed with the extract from a petroleum fraction boiling in lube oil range.

Abstract: A clamping assembly for stringing machine includes a slide member, a positioning device, a control device and a rail. The positioning device and a tube are located on two ends of the slide member. The control device includes a pin, a ring-shaped member and a knob. The pin is pivotably connected with the knob. The tube includes an engaging section and a receiving section. The receiving section has a positioning pin and a spring which biases the positioning pin so as to move the positioning pin axially. The knob having a pin hole defined in an underside thereof and can be securely positioned by inserting the insertion member into the pin hole. The knob includes a release button which is connected with a bolt. When pressing the release button, the bolt moves the insertion member which releases the knob.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for multi-user multiplexing. The method includes: a transmission apparatus performing layer mapping on data steams to be transmitted of an open-loop user and a close-loop user respectively; the transmission apparatus performing pre-coding processing on a layer data matrix of the open-loop user and the close-loop user obtained by the layer mapping; and the transmission apparatus mapping the layer data matrix after the pre-coding processing to a plurality of transmission antennas to be sent. The method of the present invention can improve frequency spectrum utilization ratio in the case of the a cell being full load or other possible scenarios, and its performance is better than the multiplexing of two close-loop users who are completely not suitable for pairing. Therefore, the method of the present invention is an optimal scheme adopted in some specified scenarios.

Abstract: In one aspect, a pen needle assembly is provided herein which includes a hub, and a needle fixed to the hub, the needle having proximal and distal ends with a lumen extending therebetween. The needle extends distally from the hub to define an exposed length between the distal end of the needle and the hub in the range of about 5.0 to 9.0 mm. The hub defines a post formed about the needle, the post having a distally-facing first skin engaging surface. The exposed length of the needle extends distally from the first skin engaging surface. The hub also defines a distally-facing second skin engaging surface which at least partially circumscribes the first skin engaging surface. The second skin engaging surface being located proximally of the first skin engaging surface. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a pen needle assembly is provided having two skin engaging surfaces which provide stability in achieving subcutaneous injections.

The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel, a gate driver unit, a clock generator, and a temperature compensation unit. The liquid crystal panel includes a pixel array. The gate driver unit is utilized for generating a plurality of driving signals to drive the pixel unit. The clock generator is electrically coupled to the gate driver unit. The temperature compensation unit is electrically coupled to the gate driver unit and the clock generator. The temperature compensation unit is utilized for adjusting an output of the clock generator to compensate the driving signals of the gate driver unit according to a temperature variance.

Abstract: An electric motor, especially a brushless PMDC motor, has a stator and a rotor rotatably installed inside of the stator. The stator has a housing with an open end, an end cap fixed to the open end of the housing, a stator core fixed to an inner surface of the housing, and windings wound on the stator core. The rotor includes a plurality of permanent magnetic poles. The housing has a flange bent inwardly from the open end of the housing and abutting against the end cap inwardly and axially to thereby fix the end cap to the housing. The length of the flange measured along the circumferential direction of the housing is greater than half of that of the housing.

A front cover is disposed on a front end of the body, and a protecting mirror is disposed on the front cover. Light emitted by the auxiliary light sources passes through the protecting mirror and illuminates a photographic area. A light-blocking film is disposed on the protecting mirror corresponding to the optical assembly, so as to prevent the light emitted by the auxiliary light sources from entering the optical assembly after reflected by the protecting mirror.

Abstract: A tone detection device for detecting whether an input signal having a tone. The device includes a volume gain calculation unit performing a volume gain treatment on frame data and outputting the volume-gain-treated frame data and energy in time domain thereof, a threshold calculation unit calculating a threshold value on the basis of the energy of the volume-gain-treated frame data, a filter transforming the volume-gain-treated frame data by an algorithm and outputting a characteristic value in a first period, and a comparator comparing the first characteristic value and the threshold value to generate a result and determining the frame data of the input signal has the tone on the basis of the result.

Abstract: A model, which defines a mathematical problem, and multiple directives may be received. Each of the multiple directives may be mapped to a respective linear solver instance. The linear solver instances may be launched to execute in parallel. Each of the linear solver instances may use either a primal or a dual algorithm and may further use double arithmetic, exact arithmetic, or hybrid arithmetic, as specified by corresponding ones of the multiple directives. A linear solver instance that uses hybrid arithmetic may start by using double arithmetic and may use exact arithmetic after experiencing a numerical difficulty. After the numerical difficulty is resolved, the linear solver instance that uses hybrid arithmetic may restart and continue to solve the mathematical problem using double arithmetic. After one of the linear solver instances finds an optimal solution, others of the linear solver instances may be stopped and a report may be provided.
