Abstract: Proposed is an image acquisition device and method, which includes a stage on which the sample is arranged, an imaging optical system configured to form an image from light reflected from the marks, an autofocus optical system configured to detect Z-direction positional information of a surface of the sample while changing a position of an observation region of the imaging optical system from a previous measurement position of the sample to a current measurement position of the sample by moving at least one of the stage and the imaging optical system in an X-Y plane, and a focus controller configured to move an objective lens of the imaging optical system toward a Z direction on the basis of the Z-direction positional information and to bring a distance between the surface of the sample and the objective lens closer to a reference distance at which the mark is in focus.

Abstract: A method for generating a data set relating to facial expressions is provided. The method includes the steps of: acquiring information on a user's facial expressions specified while the user takes a psychological test, and information on an analysis result of the psychological test associated with the information on the user's facial expressions; labeling the information on the user's facial expressions with reference to the information on the analysis result of the psychological test; and generating a data set containing the information on the user's facial expressions and information on the labeling.

Abstract: Proposed is a safety fence for vehicle protection, including prop members installed vertically on a ground to be spaced apart from each other at regular intervals, a horizontal member installed horizontally to be supported on the prop members, and a coupling member configured to couple the horizontal member to each of the prop members. The coupling member is coupled at a first side thereof to the horizontal member and coupled at a second side thereof to each of the prop members, a guide hole is formed in the second side to guide the horizontal member when it is displaced due to external shocks, and the second side is fixedly coupled to the prop member by a fixing pin that passes through the guide hole to be fixed to the prop member.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a converter including a switching unit, an energy storage unit for storing energy from a direct current (DC) input voltage and then generating an output voltage according to a switching operation of the switching unit, and a switching controller for controlling the switching unit to selectively execute a first operation mode for turning on the switching unit at a fixed frequency or a second operation mode for turning on the switching unit when a voltage between one end and the other end of the switching unit reaches a zero point of a resonance waveform, wherein the switching controller includes an operation mode selection unit for selectively executing the first operation mode or the second operation mode according to whether the voltage between one end and the other end of the switching unit resonates.
