  • Publication number: 20150323399
Abstract: A load cell for transmitting load data of a polished rod in a rod pump system includes an outer shell having a u-shaped structure with two protrusions, the u-shaped structure configured to receive the polished rod, and the outer shell configured to be positioned between a rod clamp and a clamping bar of the rod pump system. Internal to the outer shell is a load sensor, a load signal processor, a modulator, a battery, and a charger, whereby the load cell measures a load on the polished rod and wirelessly transmits load signal data via a wireless transmitter internal to the outer shell but with an antenna that protrudes from the outer shell. Also internal to the outer shell is a battery which is charged by an external solar panel via the charger. The battery, charger, and solar panel provide power to the load cell.

  • Patent number: 9034353
Abstract: Disclosed herein are mesocapsules that include agriculturally active ingredients. These mesocapsules are comprised of a polyurea shell and include hydrophilic groups on their surfaces and have a volume-average diameter of about 500 nm or less and some of them have a volume-average diameter on the order of about 300 nm or less. These mesocapsules are suited for delivering active ingredients that are not very soluble in water. Methods for making these mesocapsules include interfacial polycondensation reactions carried out in the presence of surfactants and other methods in which all or most of the surfactant is replaced by adding amino acids to the aqueous phase of the interfacial reaction mixture before forming the final emulsion.

  • Publication number: 20140346510
Abstract: A device structure suitable for parallel test is disclosed, which includes a main body and an anti-crosstalk structure. The main body includes a first well formed in a substrate, the first well defining a boundary of the main body in the substrate. The anti-crosstalk structure is a second well formed in the substrate and surrounding the first well of the main body. The second well has a conductivity type opposite to a conductivity type of the first well and has a depth greater than a depth of the first well. The present invention is capable of preventing the interference between leakage currents generated in bases of the same conductivity type of different such device structures during a parallel test, thereby allowing the leakage currents to be correctly measured and improving the reliability of measurement result and the test efficiency.
