  • Publication number: 20230172371
Abstract: A refrigerated display cabinet includes a cabinet body, a refrigerated space arranged within an interior of the cabinet body, and a door operably coupled to the cabinet body to selectively seal the refrigerated space. The door is movable between a closed position and an open position. A baffle is operably coupled to the door and is movable between an extended configuration. When the door is in the open position, the baffle is in the extended configuration.

  • Publication number: 20220357072
Abstract: An integrated diffuser grille for a coil unit includes a hub, a stack diffuser wall, a plurality of radial spokes extending between the hub and the stack diffuser wall, and a plurality of partial spokes extending inwardly from the stack diffuser wall. A radial length of the partial spokes is less than a radial length of the spokes. A plurality of circumferential elements is connected to the plurality of radial spokes between the hub and the stack diffuser wall. At least one circumferential element is connected to the plurality of partial spokes and at least one circumferential element has a non-uniform configuration about a circumference of the plurality of circumferential elements. A cross-section of the plurality of radial spokes has an airfoil-shape and at least one of a spoke pitch angle, camber angle, and chord of the airfoil-shape varies over a radial length of the plurality of spokes.

  • Patent number: 11187083
Abstract: A fan for a climate control outdoor unit includes a plurality of airfoils located around a central hub. Each of the airfoils includes a leading edge and a trailing edge opposite the leading edge. A pressure side surface extends between the leading edge and the trailing edge. A suction side surface is opposite the pressure side surface and extends between the leading edge and the trailing edge. The leading edge includes a greatest negative deviation from a radial line of greater than 10% of a span of the airfoil. The greatest negative deviation is located at between 45% and 85% of the span of the airfoil.

  • Publication number: 20210293444
Abstract: A system and method to moderate an airflow in a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) unit, including an evaporator portion disposed in a housing, the evaporator portion including at least one blower disposed within a plenum in airflow communication with a first heat exchanger, the plenum including at least one plenum wall, a vortex control device operably coupled to the at least one plenum wall.

  • Patent number: 10982863
Abstract: A fan housing (184) is provided for accommodating a fan (154) rotating about a central axis (500). The fan housing comprises: an inlet (212); a diffuser (202); an inner diameter (ID) surface (200, 210) facing the central axis; and an outer diameter (OD) surface (240) facing away from the central axis. A rim (220) at the inlet has a plurality of apexes (231) and a plurality of nadirs (233).
