  • Publication number: 20240086214
Abstract: A method for electronic device virtualization and management includes transmitting a signal to a server from a client. The signal is initiated by a user of a user interface of the client. The user interface of the client presents at least two devices to the user, which the user may interact with. The signal may include a power cycling instruction directed to at least one of the devices. When the server receives a communication back from the at least one device, it may send the information to the client, where the user interface may be updated in response to the communication. The devices may be controlled with other instructions, such as scheduling instructions, firmware update instructions, and configuration backup instructions. If a power device is virtualized, it may be controlled on a port-by-port basis.

  • Publication number: 20230336995
Abstract: A system and method for enabling a new network access device to be automatically configured for integration with another existing wireless access device, or group of such devices They disclosed systems optionally uses vendor specific information passed between the devices which may be validated using a cloud based validation service. User input may be obtained verifying that the process of auto configuring the new device should continue. The information about the new and existing access devices may be encrypted, hashed, or otherwise obscured during the automatic configuration process to ensure authenticity. A temporary SSID may be used during the configuration process to avoid mixing normal network traffic with the configuration specific network traffic.

  • Patent number: 11082428
Abstract: A method is described. The method includes receiving an access request from a router, the router having received the access request from a client device, the client device initiating the access request to obtain access to a website or application. The method also includes sending an authorization request to an authorizing user, the authorization request comprising the access request, thereby enabling the authorizing user to see information related to the access sought to be obtained. The method further includes receiving an authorization response from the authorizing user. The method additionally includes sending the authorization response to the router, enabling the router to act on the access request.
