  • Patent number: 9158998
Abstract: The disclosure discloses a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium, storing the template processing program for executing steps on a control device of an operation terminal. The terminal is connected with a print label producing apparatus using a template t, and with a server configured to store a plurality of language versions of mutually different language types for the template. The terminal comprises a display device, the control device, and a memory. The steps comprises a language selection receiving step for receiving a selection of at least one language type, a downloading step for downloading from the server at least one template that contains the language version of the language type, a combined file generating step for generating a combined file that combines a plurality of language versions using mutually different language types into a single file, and a storing step for storing the combined file in the memory.

  • Publication number: 20150253879
Abstract: A data processing device includes a detection portion, a processor, and a memory. The detection portion is configured to detect a position of a writing tool being close to a detection area. The memory is configured to store computer-readable instructions. The computer-readable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the data processing device to perform processes that include acquiring first data being coordinate data indicating positions in a first area, determining whether an instruction to end acquisition of the first data is received, acquiring second data being coordinate data indicating positions detected after it is determined that the instruction is received, storing, in a first storage portion, area information indicating a plurality of areas, acquiring third data being coordinate data indicating a position, in a second area, that is detected after the second data is acquired, and determining an order of the plurality of areas using an ordering method.

  • Patent number: 8908204
Abstract: A method for transferring a package of files that is executed by a personal computer, the package of files being made up of plural compressed files that are separately present therein. For transferring the package of files, the personal computer creates, with respect to each printer, a dedicated file that is exclusively acceptable to similar-dedicated-file-compatible models of the printer; the personal computer treats the respective dedicated files as the plural files and creates the package of files by packaging the respective dedicated files in the package of files; and with respect to the respective dedicated files in the package of files, in transferring the package of files, when it is detected by the personal computer, that the personal computer is connected to the printer that is compatible with the dedicated file, the personal computer transfers the dedicated file in the package of files to the detected printer.

  • Patent number: 8559038
Abstract: An automatic file transfer system includes a personal computer and one or more printers. The automatic file transfer system includes a transfer folder capable of containing one or more files, wherein, when the personal computer recognizes, through plug-and-play, that a printer among the one or more printers which are connected to the personal computer is powered on, if the printer currently recognized is a transfer-target printer, the personal computer executes in a repetitive manner, for the printer currently recognized, processes of: (i) determining whether or not a new file is moved into the transfer folder; and (ii) transferring, if it is determined that a new file is moved into the transfer folder, the new file to the printer currently recognized.

  • Patent number: 6215506
Abstract: A portrait drawing apparatus for storing for each facial part a plurality of attributes thereof (race, sex, age-group, specific shape such as snub or aquiline for nose, etc.) and for allowing the facial part candidates selected as per the designated attributes to be displayed preferentially over the candidates having other attributes so that the operator will determine the appropriate facial parts with ease and combine them into a portrait in the shortest possible time. The apparatus comprises an image display unit, an input unit and a memory unit that stores programs and data, i.e., a facial part attribute table, facial part pattern data and facial part candidate tables. The facial part attribute table includes pattern numbers, facial part patterns, attributes, and address pointers pointing to the facial part pattern data.

  • Patent number: 5517610
Abstract: A portrait drawing apparatus having a facial part data table comprising data about the correspondence of component facial parts of portraits to different facial expressions. When it is desired to modify the previously drawn portrait of the same person with a different facial expression, the facial parts corresponding to the desired facial expression are determined to replace the applicable old facial parts. Substituting the newly selected facial parts for the old allows the portrait with the designated facial expression to be drawn with ease.
