  • Patent number: 10877021
Abstract: A device for biological material detection includes a substrate; a through-hole through which a biological material to be tested passes, the through-hole being formed in the substrate; a molecule that interacts with the biological material to be tested passing through, the molecule being formed in the through-hole; a first chamber member that forms, with at least the surface including the through-hole on one surface side of the substrate, a first chamber to be filled with electrolyte; and a second chamber member that forms, with at least the surface including the through-hole on the other surface side of the substrate, a second chamber to be filled with electrolyte. The biological material to be tested is identified by the waveform of the ion current (passage time, shape, etc.) when the biological material to be tested passes through the through-hole.

  • Publication number: 20120080327
Abstract: Provided is a simple, rapid blood cell analysis method (assay method using erythrocytes) utilizing a novel index. Using a measurement system having a working electrode and a counter electrode, an adhesion level of erythrocyte on the working electrode to which a positive potential, or a current that generates a positive potential, is applied is detected by an electrochemical measurement method. Oxidation stress is evaluated using the detection result.

  • Publication number: 20110046015
Abstract: Disclosed is a peptide immobilization technique which can achieve the immobilization of a satisfactory quantity of a peptide on a solid support. In the immobilization of a peptide on a solid support, a surfactant is allowed to coexist on the solid support together with the peptide. In this manner, the quantity of the peptide immobilized on the solid support can be increased.

  • Patent number: 7285199
Abstract: A method and apparatus for concentrating dilute biomolecules in samples using electrophoresis are described. The method involves using the charged nature of the biomolecules to localize them to a microspot containing a dialysis membrane. The method and apparatus may also be used for identifying the presence of a biomolecule in a mixture or to quantitate the amount of a specific biomolecule in a mixture. The method and apparatus may also be used to produce a high throughput method for analysis and quantitation of a sample containing biomolecules.
