    Abstract: A retainer for holding eyeglasses that includes a retainer ring rotatably mounted to the clamping means. The clamping means includes a first clamp member pivotally attached to a second clamp member, and a means for biasing together a first end of each of the clamp members. A mounting element is attached to the retainer ring in a spaced relation to the clamping means. The retainer ring is rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the mounting element.
