Coupling components couple the top edge of the body portion and the bottom edge of the head portion. A cutout is formed in each side edge. The cutouts form positioning guides. In this manner the user is assisted in the proper placement of the bedspread upon the mattress. Further in this manner the positioning guides on the mattress are adjacent to the ends of the head end of the upper surface of the mattress.
