  • Patent number: 6267572
Abstract: A scroll fluid machine requiring no crank shaft to orbitably support an orbiting scroll member and capable of being reduced in overall size in the axial direction. In a casing, two fixed scroll members are provided on the axis of the casing, and an electric motor is provided between the fixed scroll members. Eccentric bearings each having an outer ring, an intermediate ring and an inner ring are provided between the electric motor and the fixed scroll members. The inner periphery of each intermediate ring is formed with an axis eccentric with respect to the axis of the casing. Orbiting scroll members are integrated with the inner rings through an orbiting shaft. The orbiting shaft is caused to orbit by rotating a rotating shaft with the electric motor, thereby causing the orbiting scroll members to orbit relative to the fixed scroll members.

  • Patent number: 5584122
Abstract: In the covered-wire connection method and structure in which at least one of members to be conductively connected to each other is a covered wire comprising a conductive wire portion and a cover portion of resin which is coated around the outer periphery of the conductive wire portion, both of the members are overlapped with each other at connection portions thereof, the overlapped connection portions are pinched between a pair of resin chips, and then the cover portion are melted and dispersed by ultrasonic vibration while pressing the connection portions of the members from the outside of the resin chips to conductively connect both of the members to each other at the connection portions thereof. Thereafter, the pair of the resin chips are melted to be fixed to each other, so that the connection portions are sealed with the melted resin chips.

  • Patent number: 5142950
Abstract: In a method of peeling an intermediate portion of an insulative covering from a coated electric wire, the electric wire is subjected to an annular slits forming step, an intermediate portion fixing step and lateral slit forming step in any order. After all of the above steps has been finished, the intermediate portion of the covering is separated from the electric wire with the intermediate portion remaining fixed. Therefore, variations in the peeling length is prevented and the intermediate portion-peeling can be carried out without damaging a conductor of the electric wire. Further, the method can be applied even to a very narrow and thin electric wire.

  • Patent number: 5010642
Abstract: The method of making a flat wiring harness consists of a pre-shaping process, a shaping process, and a wire bonding process. In the pre-shaping process, the intertwined wires are combed to be smoothed and straightened out and are pushed by a press block into parallelly arranged grooves in a series of longitudinally lined jigs and kept therein by a cover. In the shaping process, the group of wires thus laid in parallel lines in a series of the grooved jigs are shaped into a desired pattern of the flat wiring harness by moving any desired grooved jigs horizontally along guide slots formed in a holder plate, on which the grooved jigs and associated components are mounted. In the bonding process, the shaped flat wire group is applied with adhesive on one side through a screen which is patterned according to the shape of a final flat wiring harness. As the adhesive hardens, the wires are bonded together and a flat wiring harness of a desired two-dimensional shape is obtained.
