  • Publication number: 20170119107
Abstract: A molded surface fastener has engagement regions in which engaging elements are disposed in an erect manner and space regions with no engaging elements, the engagement regions and the space regions alternating in the longitudinal direction. Each space region has a pair of left and right vertical wall portions that are disposed on a substrate portion in an erect manner and a convex rib portion that protrudes from the center of the substrate portion in the width direction, and the convex rib portion is integrally connected to a main lateral wall portion disposed in the width direction of the engagement region. By implementing a simple cutting process, this molded surface fastener can be easily adapted to usages in which the fastener has to be in a curved shape bending in the width direction.

  • Publication number: 20160331085
Abstract: An integrally moldable molded surface fastener retains practical rigidity, while having attraction force to a magnet and is prevented from being easily broken during attachment and detachment handlings to and from loop-shaped engaging elements. A first resin composition comprising 80% by mass or more of a thermoplastic polyester and containing no magnetic material is used in at least a part of a substrate portion, and a second resin composition containing a thermoplastic polyester, a thermoplastic polyester elastomer and a magnetic material at a certain proportion is used in at least a part of engaging elements of the molded surface fastener.

  • Patent number: 9433262
Abstract: A molding hook and loop fastener includes a plurality of surface fastener portions and a coupling member that is formed of a resilient body and connects the surface fastener portions. The coupling member includes a pair of vertical wall coupling portions which is continuously disposed along a longitudinal direction on both sides in between an engaging element area and which connects the surface fastener portions. With this configuration, when the molding hook and loop fastener is integrally molded to a cushion body, it is possible to prevent a resin material from penetrating into the engaging element area of the surface fastener portion and to stably secure a desired fastening strength at the engaging element area.

  • Publication number: 20160242512
Abstract: A surface fastener member includes left and right longitudinal protective wall sections and front and rear lateral protective wall sections. Each of the lateral protective wall sections includes an outer first lateral wall section and an inner second lateral wall section. The first lateral wall section is continuously placed between the left and right longitudinal protective wall sections at a predetermined height. The second lateral wall section includes a plurality of divided lateral wall bodies which are intermittently placed along a width direction, and a plurality of second engagement elements. The distance is set smaller than a mounting pitch of the first engagement elements in the longitudinal direction of the surface fastener member. According to this, when the molded surface fastener is integrally molded on a cushion body, it is possible to prevent resin material from entering an engagement element region of the surface fastener member.

  • Patent number: 9271547
Abstract: The molded hook and loop fastener has multiple hook and loop fastener parts on which multiple engaging elements are disposed, and a connection member for connecting the hook and loop fastener parts. The hook and loop fastener parts have fixing parts which fix the connection member to backings. The backings have forward and rearward extensions that extend in the longitudinal direction from the positions where the fixing parts are disposed. The dimension in the longitudinal direction of the connection member at a connection part is set to be longer than the minimum interval between adjacent hook and loop fastener parts, thereby allowing the molded hook and loop fastener to be bent easily in the width direction, and allowing the forward and rearward extensions to prevent foam resin material from directly hitting lateral walls.

  • Patent number: 9271546
Abstract: Provided is a molding hook and loop fastener, in which a barrier erected near left and right side edges of a substrate includes at least two rows of vertical wall arrays, and the vertical wall array includes a plurality of vertical walls disposed alternately. Between the two adjacent, rows of the vertical walls disposed alternately, each of the vertical walls disposed on one row is connected to two vertical walls disposed on the other row via a connecting part, and the connecting part connects one end portion of one vertical wall disposed on the adjacent row and the other end portion of the other vertical wall. Due to this, in the molding hook and loop fastener an outer side and an inner side of the barrier can be divided by the vertical wall array and the connecting part, and flexibility of the molding hook and loop fastener can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20150335106
Abstract: There is provided a molded hook and loop fastener having at least one hook and loop fastener member which includes a flat plate-shaped base material and a plurality of engaging elements erected on a first surface of the base material in a center region in a width direction thereof, and configured to be integrated with a cushion body upon foaming of the cushion body. A flexible sheet-shaped resin material infiltration-blocking member is fixed to right and left side edge portions of the first surface of the base material and arranged along a longitudinal direction. Right and left support members are erected on the inside of fixation portions of the resin material infiltration-blocking member with respect to the base material, to support the resin material infiltration-blocking member. An upper end of the resin material infiltration-blocking member is configured to protrude above an upper end location of the support members.
