  • Publication number: 20070291208
Abstract: A multi-domain liquid crystal display includes multiple first and second picture elements and multiple first and second auxiliary electrodes. The first and second picture elements have opposite polarities under the same frame of an inversion drive scheme, and each picture element has a reflective region and a transmissive region. The first auxiliary electrodes are connected to the first picture elements, and each of the first auxiliary electrodes is positioned next to at least one side of one second picture element. The second auxiliary electrodes are connected to the second picture elements, and each of the second auxiliary electrodes is positioned next to at least one side of one first picture element.

  • Publication number: 20070128401
Abstract: The present invention discloses an electrode separator, which is formed on a substrate that has strip-like first electrodes and is perpendicular to the first electrodes, wherein a common positive type photoresist material is firstly obliquely exposed and then vertically exposed and then developed to form the electrode separator by the two exposure steps. The electrode separator has a first lateral vertical to the bottom side of the electrode separator and a second lateral cooperating with the surface of the substrate to create an acute angle with one end of the top side having an overhanging portion. When the second electrodes are deposited, the overhanging portions can separate the metallic film of the second electrodes, and the metallic film of each second electrode is confined to between two electrode separators. Thus, the objective of separating the second electrode is achieved.

  • Publication number: 20070076157
Abstract: A structure of liquid crystal display (LCD) with a wide viewing angle is presented. In this invention, a slit pattern of a pixel electrode is definded by using an etching process. Thereafter, a reflection layer which defines a reflective region and a transmissive region is constructed along the top or bottom of the slit of the pixel electrode, and wherein a slit or bump pattern can be included in the top electrode further. Therefore, by adjusting the relative positions of the slit or bump structures in the electrodes and by using the fringe effect of electric field, the tilt direction of the LC molecules in a LC cell is controlled and the effect of semi-transmitted wide viewing angle of multi-domain division is formed.

  • Publication number: 20070063496
Abstract: An inflating device has a casing, an air bag tray, an air generating device and a check valve. The air generating device is mounted on the casing and has a tube, an air generator and a guiding plate. The tube extends into the casing and has an air channel and vents. The air generator is attached to one end of the tube and has a housing, a chemical holder and an igniting device. The chemical holder is mounted inside the housing to contain chemicals. The igniting device is attached to housing and extends into the chemical holder to ignite the chemicals. The guide plate is mounted inside the casing and corresponds to the vents. The check valve is mounted in the casing and corresponds with and closes an inlet of the casing.

  • Publication number: 20070052898
Abstract: The present invention is a multi-domain structure of wide-view-angle liquid crystal displays, which includes a first substrate having a pixel electrode. A slit is formed on the pixel electrode. There is at least one bump on the slit, which is used to form a multi-domain between every bump and the pixel electrode. Apertures on each bump can increase the aperture ratio of the liquid crystal display (LCD) so as to enhance the luminance of the LCD and to save the power consumption.

  • Publication number: 20060215085
Abstract: A reflective and transflective liquid crystal display, a figure of bump structure is defined at a pixel electrode, and a reflective layer is formed around the peripheral at the top or bottom of the figure of bump structure to define the reflective zone and the transmissive zone of each single pixel. The upper electrode can contain the figure of slit or bump structure. By adjusting the relative positions of the figures of slit or bump structure between electrodes, the pre-tilt angles and tilting directions of liquid crystal molecules can be controlled, and a multi-domain division alignment is formed, and thus a multi-domain division, semi-transmissive, and wide view angle liquid crystal panel can be formed.

  • Publication number: 20060024870
Abstract: A manufacturing method for low temperature polycrystalline silicon cell, including steps of: forming a buffer layer on a substrate; depositing a-Si:H on the buffer layer; baking and dehydrogenating the a-Si:H; melting and crystallizing the a-Si into Poly-Si by means of laser; defining a Poly-Si island via photolithography; depositing a gate oxide; plating a metal layer on the gate oxide; defining the regions of the gate metal and data line metal by means of photolithography; implanting semiconductor impurites with the gate serving as a mask to define the source/drain; forming a passivation; etching the passivation to form contact holes; filling transparent conductive material into the contact holes to accomplish the connection between the source/drain and data line; and forming the pattern of pixel electrode to achieve the low temperature polycrystalline silicon cell.
