  • Publication number: 20060168971
Abstract: A preheating/precooling heat exchanger including a preheating/precooling exchanger and an evaporator. The preheating/precooling exchanger has an intake and an exhaust port for compressed air to come in and go out. The intake is connected with an intake duct circulated inside the preheating/precooling exchanger to communicate with the evaporator. A condensing pipe is circulated inside the evaporator for heat exchange between the compressed air and a coolant in the condensing pipe and for condensing the vapor in the compressed air into water drops. The evaporator has an inlet and an outlet. The inlet is connected to the intake duct of the preheating/precooling exchanger, whereby the compressed air can go from the intake duct into the evaporator. The outlet communicates with the preheating/precooling exchanger, whereby the compressed air can flow back into the preheating/precooling exchanger.

  • Publication number: 20060106644
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for creating a referral network for member physicians utilizing the Internet. The referral network provides its members an organized and efficient system for generating and storing patient referrals. To become a member of the referral network, a physician registers with the referral network web site. A member physician generates a patient referral document using referral network software on the referral network web site. The patient referral document is sent to another physician to refer a patient to the physician. If the recipient physician is not a member of the referral network, the patient referral document includes a promotion for the referral network to induce the physician receiving the referral document to become a member of the referral network.

  • Publication number: 20050285580
Abstract: In a DC-to-DC converter, a current sense circuit and method generate a first current by a first transconductive amplifier responsive to the output current of the converter for a controller to switch a high side switch and a low side switch, a second current from a first voltage by a second transconductive amplifier, a second voltage from the second current by an adjustable resistor, and a bias signal from a difference between the second voltage and a third voltage by a bias apparatus to adjust the transconductances of the first and second transconductive amplifiers.

  • Publication number: 20050258808
Abstract: In a voltage mode buck converter having a pair of switches connected in series by a phase node to be switched by a pair of drive signals generated from a first control signal, a phase resistor is connected between a multifunction pin and the phase node, and a controller generates a second control signal and a third control signal from the second drive signal to sense the voltage on the multifunction pin respectively to generate an over-current signal and a CCM mode switch signal to switch the converter between a CCM mode and a DCM mode.

  • Patent number: 5717503
Abstract: An actuating apparatus for optical scanners which can cause the lamp and the reflecting mirror to travel at a desired ratio of distances such that the total distance of scanner's light path before and after the lamp movement remains substantially unchanged. The actuating apparatus employs only one belt, thus greatly simplifying the structure of the scanner, improving the reliability thereof, and allowing the scanner to become more compact.
