  • Publication number: 20100310971
Abstract: The invention provides a fuel cell module. The fuel cell module includes a membrane electrode assembly, a flow field plate and a current collector. The current collector, disposed between the membrane electrode assembly and the flow field plate, includes a first surface, a second surface and a plurality of openings. The first surface faces the membrane electrode assembly. The second surface is opposite to the first surface and faces the flow field plate. Each of the openings has an inner wall, and an acute angle is formed between the inner wall and the first surface. Additionally, each opening has a first diameter level with the first surface and a second diameter level with the second surface, wherein the first diameter is smaller than the second diameter.

  • Publication number: 20100203426
Abstract: A fuel cell is provided, including an integrated cathode/anode flow board, a first anode current collector, a first cathode current collector, a first membrane electrode assembly, a second anode current collector, a second cathode current collector, and a second membrane electrode assembly. The integrated cathode/anode flow board includes first cathode channels for air to flow through, and a plurality of first anode channels for a fuel to flow through. The first cathode channels and the first anode channels are disposed on opposite sides of the integrated cathode/anode flow board. The first anode current collector contacts the first anode channels. The first membrane electrode assembly is sandwiched between the first anode current collector and the first cathode current collector. The second anode current collector contacts the first cathode channels. The second membrane electrode assembly is sandwiched between the second anode current collector and the second cathode current collector.

  • Publication number: 20100098988
Abstract: A membrane electrode module is provided. The membrane electrode module includes a membrane electrode assembly, a first fixing element and a second fixing element. The membrane electrode assembly includes an exchange-membrane, a first electrode and a second electrode. The exchange-membrane includes a first surface and a second surface. The first electrode is disposed on the first surface. The second electrode is disposed on the second surface. The first fixing element contacts the first surface. The second fixing element contacts the second surface, wherein the first fixing element and the second fixing element are joined to the exchange-membrane via heat-pressing to be fixed to the exchange-membrane.

  • Publication number: 20090035638
Abstract: A fuel cell module includes an integral anode plate, a cathode plate, an array membrane electrode assembly (array MEA) and a pre-molded adhesive plate. The integral anode plate includes a flow board. A recess is disposed on a side of the flow board for accommodating a bendable lug of a unitary anode charge collector. The bendable lug is electrically connected to a cathode charge collector on the cathode board. The array MEA includes a plurality of MEA units and a proton exchange membrane. The pre-molded adhesive plate has openings for accommodating corresponding MEA units. The pre-molded adhesive plate has an intermediate rigid frame sandwiched between two adhesive layers.

  • Patent number: 7020936
Abstract: A universal carry strap includes a woven strip, an adjustment buckle and a shuttle buckle. The strip has two opposite ends onto which the adjustment and the shuttle buckles are integrally formed by molding plastic. The adjustment buckle has multiple adjusting through holes. The shuttle buckle passes selectively through the adjusting through holes. Consequently, the carry strap will provide a robust connection and be easy, quick and convenient to be connected to an object, such as a case having a first and a second connecting hook ring by passing the shuttle buckle through the first connecting hook ring, selectively through the adjusting through holes in the adjustment buckle and eventually through the second connecting hook ring to engage the second connecting hook ring.
