Abstract: A method for control of video output applied to multiple available video sources, the method being executed by a user terminal having a touch-sensitive display which comprises a plurality of sub-regions for displaying contents from multi-channel video sources. The sub-regions comprise at least a first sub-region and a second sub-region. A touch operation on the touch-sensitive display is detected and includes a sliding operation. Contents of the first sub-region and contents of the second sub-region are exchanged according to start position and end position of the sliding operation. Users are able to control the output layouts of the contents from the multi-channel video sources by operating the user terminal according to individual needs.

The same gestures and movements of an object in different locations and in different orientations may be identified according to coordinates and offsets applied to coordinates, and gesture-making areas projected so as to surround the object. The techniques can accurately identify actions of movements of the human or other object.

A chairman client, a participant client, an electronic device and all are connected with a server. The chairman client invites the participant clients to join the video conference room built in the electronic device. The chairman client and the participant client request the image according to the video conference room. Every one of the participant client selects the image by the participant themselves, and the image quality of the video conference is guaranteed.

The electronic device automatically logs into the rest of the applications when the rest of the applications are opened, after the login facial image matches the preset facial image to log into the first application.

Abstract: A computing device is electronically connected to one or more clients for a video conference. The computing device firstly sends a first video image to the clients. When a client requests a custom video image, the computing device obtains a second video image by merging images of all conference participants for the client, and sends to the client. The client selects information from the second video image and sends the information to the computing device. After receiving the information, the computing device creates the custom video image according to the received information, and sends the custom video image to the client.

Abstract: A method of managing video conference includes requesting the server for each IP address of each of the remote electronic devices. The server transmits an IP address of each of the remote electronic devices to a local electronic device. According to the received IP addresses, connections are established between the local electronic device and each of the remote electronic devices. An image of a user of the local electronic device is acquired. Images of remote users of the remote electronic devices sent by the remote electronic devices are received. The acquired image and the received images are merged into an image for the user of the local electronic device.

Abstract: A method of managing video conference includes requesting the server for each IP address of each of the remote electronic devices. The server transmits an IP address of each of the remote electronic devices to a local electronic device. According to the received IP addresses, connections are established between the local electronic device and each of the remote electronic devices. An image of a user of the local electronic device is acquired. Images of remote users of the remote electronic devices sent by the remote electronic devices are received. The acquired image and the received images are merged into a first image for a user of the local electronic device and a second image for the remote users of the remote electronic devices. The second image is transmitted to the remote electronic devices.

Abstract: A data recovery method includes executing a recovery program of the DFS to periodically generate backup data of the DFS. In response to received operations of a user on a client device, information in relation to the received operations is stored in a main computing device. When a master node of the DFS is running abnormally, the data recovery program is executed to restore the data of the DFS using backup data having a creation time closest to the current time. Specified operations with later creation times are determined. Information in relation to the specified operations is acquired from the stored information. According to the acquired information of the specified operations, each of the specified operations is re-executed.

Abstract: Method of managing input signals of a first display device includes determining a specified electronic device to be an input signal source of the first display device, and displaying a specified virtual remote controller of the specified electronic device on a second display device of a mobile device. In response to detecting touch signals on the second display device, a virtual remote controller is determined. The recorded infrared signals is stored to a queue corresponding to the identification number of the selected virtual key in sequence. Induction delay time corresponding to each of the recorded infrared signals in the queue are set.

The method detects a query from one of the VoIP terminal devices, retrieves the geographical information from the data sheet according to the query, and obtains an electronic map from the storage device. The method further populates the retrieved geographical information on the electronic map, and sends the electronic map to the VoIP terminal device corresponding to the location information.

Abstract: A method to identify a shake gesture using an electronic device. The electronic device reads reference acceleration values from an accelerometer of the electronic device when a user shakes the electronic device to establish the shake gesture. The electronic device generates the shake gesture by a sorting algorithm according to the reference acceleration values and associates the shake gesture with an application. The electronic device starts the application corresponding to the shake gesture.

Abstract: A method for controlling electronic devices using a handheld device, one or more electronic devices are searched in a current location. The method obtains configuration documents of different locations from a storage device of the handheld device, determines a configuration document which has the most quantity or ratio of the searched electronic devices, and obtains an indicating direction of the handheld device. The method further compares the indicating direction of the handheld device with a display direction of each of electronic devices recorded in the determined configuration document, determines a matched electronic device corresponding to the indicating direction of the handheld device, and controls the matched electronic device to perform corresponding functions according to movement data or touch operations of the handheld device.

Abstract: In a method of a computing device for processing a foreground color of an image, pixels of the image are sampled according to a predetermined sampling ratio. An RGB value of each sampled pixel of the image is counted, and an ideal pixel value of each of the R value, the G value and the B value is determined. A background color of the image is selected from a predetermined color palette according to the ideal pixel value of each of the R value, the G value and the B value. A complementary color of the background color is calculated. A foreground color of the image is selected from the color palette according to the complementary color.
