    Abstract: A method for assembling captive screw includes the steps of providing an annular base and positioning an annular washer on a top of the annular base; providing a screw, a coil spring, and a sleeve; downward passing the screw through the coil spring and a top opening of the sleeve; and threading a threaded section of the screw through the annular washer, so that the annular washer is fitted around a shank of the screw to locate below the top opening of the sleeve and above the threaded section of the screw. An inner circumferential edge of the annular washer is not worn away by the threaded section of the screw threaded therethrough, enabling the annular washer to keep a small inner diameter for tightly fitting around the shank of the screw and ensuring reliable assembling of the sleeve to the screw.

    Abstract: A packaging method for assembling a screw to a printed circuit board (PCB) includes the steps of: providing a screw having a head, a threaded shank, and a ferrule enclosing the threaded shank; mounting a stop ring on the threaded shank to maintain a predetermined height from top of the head to bottom of the ferrule; using a tool to fetch the screw and align the threaded shank with one through hole provided on the PCB; releasing the screw from the tool for a flange of the ferrule to extend into the through hole on the PCB; heating to melt a solder layer atop of the PCB, so that the ferrule is fixedly held to the PCB when the molten solder layer is cooled and hardened again; and removing the stop ring so that the threaded shank is retracted into the ferrule.

    Abstract: A spring screw assembly includes a screw, an inner tube having a spring mounted therein, and a retainer tube being covered by a color coat. The inner tube is axially movably assembled into the retainer tube, and the screw may be extended into the retainer tube and the inner tube to extend through the spring with a rack portion near an upper end of the screw tightly engaged with an upper open end of the retainer tube. Therefore, screws of different sizes and retainer tubes with different color coats may be separately kept in stock, and screws meeting customer specifications may be assembled to retainer tubes having colors meeting customer color management system at a later time to complete the desired spring screw assemblies.

    Abstract: An anti-disengaged screw device includes a stem member and a nut member. The stem member is composed of a screw rod section and a disk head and a plurality of exertion wedges are disposed on the disk head as an exertion point of a torsion force. The nut member provides an axial hole and a deep countersink for the screw rod section passing through the axial hole and the disk head being received in the countersink. A lock configuration is formed between the circumference of the countersink and the exertion wedges for being inserted and turned with a key arm, which providing wedge recesses and an annular lock head corresponding to the lock configuration, such that it is capable of preventing from being inserted in and turned with an ordinal tool directly and protecting the screw device from being disassembled.
