Abstract: A golf club head includes a club head main body and at least one counterweight block. The club head main body has at least one internal cavity that is in spatial communication with an external space through at least one opening. The at least one counterweight block is embedded in the at least one internal cavity. The at least one counterweight block has a cross-section dimension that is greater than a cross-section dimension of the at least one opening so that the at least one counterweight block is confined in the at least one internal cavity. The at least one counterweight block includes a plurality of metallic particles which are bonded to one another through a cured binding material. A method for making the golf club head is also provided.

The plate member includes a plurality of carbon fiber layers which are stacked on each other and are impregnated with a thermoset carbon fiber resin containing carbon nanotubes. The carbon nanotubes are present in an amount ranging from 0.01 wt% to 5 wt%, based on the total weight of the thermoset carbon fiber resin.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a golf club head having a weight member includes: providing a weight block made of a metal material; disposing an isolation layer on the weight block to form the weight member; delivering a wax material to form a wax pattern covering a portion of the weight member; coating the weight member and the wax pattern with a shell mold plaster to form a shell mold covering the same; performing a de-waxing process which leaves a mold cavity in the shell mold; and casting a molten metal material in the mold cavity to form a club head main body, and removing the shell mold to form the golf club head having the weight member embedded in the club head main body. A golf club head manufactured by the method is also disclosed.

The club head body includes a main body and a coupling portion extending from the main body, defining an opening, and having an end that is concaved toward the main body to form an engaging recess. The striking face unit has a connecting portion and covers the opening. The connecting portion is inserted into the engaging recess of the coupling portion and is connected to the club head body. The club head body is made of a first metal material and the connecting portion is made of a second metal material having a melting point higher than that of the first metal material.

The base block is disposed separately from and extending away from the bottom end of the striking plate. The connecting unit is connected to the striking plate and the base block. The bottom plate is formed as a separate piece from the striking plate and the base block, and is connected to the bottom end of the striking plate and the base block. The base block and the bottom plate cooperatively form a sole portion of the golf club head and define a recess therebetween.

The at least one rib member includes two opposite end portions projecting rearwardly from the rear face, and a bridge portion connected between the two opposite end portions and spaced apart from the rear face.
