  • Publication number: 20060261128
Abstract: A pressing tongue for nails in the magazine for a nail gun, wherein the magazine is installed on the nail gun for loading chained nails, a magazine seat is formed on the bottom of the magazine, and the two ends of the magazine seat is respectively linked with a guiding seat and an arm on the bottom of a handle, a loading stage with a central axle is pivotally formed on the magazine seat to orient the chained nails and put the nails into the guiding seat, a cover is provided for covering the magazine seat. The pressing tongue on an end of the cover extends to close to the central axle, so as to supply the chained nails steadily and smoothly in the process of actuating.

  • Publication number: 20060255085
Abstract: A switching device for driving nails of a nail gun, the device is provided on a gun body between a trigger and a safety slide shaft with a seat which has at least an axial hole for mounting at least a bolt axle, a switching button and a compression spring; wherein the switching button is slidably mounted on the bolt axle, the compression spring is provided between the bolt axle and the switching button; the bolt axle is connected on its bottom with the safety slide shaft, and is formed thereon an eccentric rod for pushing a tailing end of an inner trigger in a trigger, a user can control the contact position of the eccentric rod with the inner trigger in the trigger, so that the nail gun can be switched between a restrictive actuation mode or a contact actuation mode for driving nails.

  • Patent number: 7131563
Abstract: A nail driver bumper comprises an inner pad and an outer pad which are made of heat-resisting elastomer material. A plurality of axial ribs is arranged between the inner pad and the outer pad. An axial slot is formed between two adjacent axial ribs. A top of each axial slot is communicated to the lower chamber of the cylinder. An axial channel and a radial channel are formed at the lower end of each axial slot. The entire axial channels and the radial channels are communicated with the axial slots and the central hole of the inner pad so as to communicate to the lower chamber. Thus, a plurality of air paths is informed between the inner pad and the outer pad so as to increase the surface area for an ability of preferred heat dissipating, and prolong the lifetime of the bumper.

  • Patent number: 7086573
Abstract: A braking unit for nail drivers, mainly a rotary retaining unit pivotally mounted on lateral sides of a punch channel of a nail driver, comprises a front blocking portion, a first cam, a second cam and a handle portion. The first cam is engaged with the securing slide rod so as to restrain the slide rod. The second cam is inserted into a punch channel to engaging nails within the channel. Thereby, when the nail cartridge is loaded, the retaining unit releases the securing slide rod so that the trigger can be pulled to punch a nail. It can sense the emptiness of the cartridge so as to restrain the slide rod and invalidate the trigger. The handle portion can be pushed so as to rotate the first cam and the second cam out of the punch channel, whereby a striking test with empty nail cartridge can be performed.
