Abstract: An apparatus for clamping a disk comprises a clamper and a turntable. The clamper having a first cushion member is disposed on a bottom side of the clamper. The turntable is movably disposed relative to the clamper thereby clamping the disk between the turntable and the clamper. When the turntable is moved toward the bottom side of the clamper, one of the turntable and the disk touches the first cushion member first and then the clamper attaches to the turntable tightly for clamping the disk between the clamper and the turntable, therefore a striking force generated from the impact of one of the turntable and the disk on the clamper is reduced by the first cushion member.

Abstract: A disk drive includes a disk tray disposed within a casing for receiving an optical disk thereon, a clamp-holding seat disposed above the disk tray and having a clamp opening, a clamp disposed within the clamp opening in the clamp-holding seat and projecting downwardly from the bottom side thereof, a protrusion structure disposed on the clamp-holding seat, a resilient structure disposed on the clamp-holding seat opening opposite to the protrusion structure, and a spindle motor disposed below the disk tray for rotating the disk once the spindle motor is moved upward via the reading opening to a reading position, where the disk is sandwiched between the clamp and the spindle motor.

The optical disc recording/reproducing body has a first indention having a floating region and a positioning region. The tray removably disposed on the optical disc recording/reproducing body has a second indention. The door, having a first protrusion and a second protrusion respectively corresponding to a first indention and a second indention, is disposed on the tray via a flexible connection, so that the door is fed into the second indention via the second protrusion. When the tray enters the optical disc recording/reproducing body, the first indention of the optical disc recording/reproducing body abuts the first protrusion of the door via the floating region, so that the second protrusion is detached from the second indention along with the door and that the first protrusion slides to the positioning region from the floating region.
