  • Patent number: 11750261
Abstract: An analog beamformer used for array antenna and an operating method thereof are provided. The analog beamformer used for array antenna includes an intermediate-frequency amplifying circuit, multiple local oscillators, multiple mixers, multiple radio-frequency amplifying circuits, and a frequency locking circuit. The analog beamformer uses a master-oscillator and multiple slave-oscillators which embed a resonant network of frequency-and-phase-locking. The intermediate-frequency amplifying circuit receives a baseband signal to provide an intermediate-frequency signal. Power supplies or grounding ports of different local oscillators are connected together to provide multiple local-oscillating signals with consistent frequency but different phases. The mixers individually receive the intermediate-frequency signal and one of the local-oscillating signals to provide multiple mixed signals.

  • Publication number: 20090096740
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device, an apparatus and a method for controlling a luminance of a liquid crystal panel thereof are provided. The liquid crystal display device receives an image signal, generates an image compensating parameter according to the image signal and a plurality of luminance control parameters, and generates a compensated image signal, wherein each luminance control parameters relates to the liquid crystal panel. Then, the control signal is generated according to the image compensating parameter so that the liquid crystal panel displays an image of the compensated image signal. With this device and method, the power consumption of the liquid crystal panel display could be reduced, while the picture quality is preserved.

  • Publication number: 20070201431
Abstract: A wireless communication device (10) for processing Voice over Internet Protocol signals includes an encoding and decoding module (30), a central processing unit (CPU) (20), a digital signal processor (DSP) (40), and a wireless communication module (50). The CPU communicates with the encoding and decoding module for controlling signal flows of the wireless communication device, and includes a multi-channel serial interface (MCSI) (200), an external memory interface (EMI) (210), and a serial peripheral interface (SPI) (220). The DSP communicates with the CPU via the MCSI and the EMI for compressing signals received from the MCSI and decompressing signals received from the EMI. The wireless communication module communicates with the CPU via the SPI for receiving and transmitting voice packets.
