  • Publication number: 20130172161
Abstract: A wearable exercise device for foot stretching is disclosed. The wearable exercise device serves to stretch and thereby train strength of muscles in legs and foot soles, and to improve users' balancing ability. The wearable exercise device has a stepping plane at top for a user foot to step thereon, a convex curved surface at bottom, and one or more binding bells attached to laterals of the wearable exercise device for fixing the user foot on the stepping plane so as to allow different areas of the foot sole to contact the stepping plane, thereby stretching and training legs and foot soles differently. When wearing the exercise device, a user may walk to improve the strength of the muscles in legs and foot soles, or he/she may just stand to stretch the muscle clusters of legs and foot soles.

  • Patent number: 7950163
Abstract: A foot type and plantar pressure measuring device is provided. The device includes a color pad and a foggy film on the color pad. The device further includes a mesh pad on the foggy film and/or a resilient pad under the color pad, the resilient pad having protrusions. When a patient stands still on the device for a few seconds and then steps off, the patient's foot type and plantar pressure is shown by color pattern displayed on surface areas of the foggy film. The color pattern corresponds to the plantar pressure exerted on the device, and tones of the color pattern represent the plantar pressure exerted on the surface areas.

  • Publication number: 20100293799
Abstract: The present invention is an improved foot type and plantar pressure measuring structure which is comprised of a meshed pad, a semi-transparent thin film, a color pad, and a pad with resilient protrusions. These four layers are stacked in the order described. When a patient stands still on top of the structure for a few seconds and then steps off, the patient's foot type and plantar pressure is shown by color pattern displayed. Colored areas generated come from the direct stick-on contact between the thin film and the color pad with the interaction with the pad with resilient protrusions. The location of contact color, size of contact color and tone of contact color displayed from this device can be used to determine foot type and plantar pressure distribution. This invention provides a low cost and easy to operate system without the need of any paper, ink, or electricity for the measurement of foot type and plantar pressure distribution.

  • Patent number: 7373740
Abstract: An innovative shaped memory insole with re-adjustable supporting pads, an insole structure that can be tailor made on the spot, and thereafter can be repeatedly reshaped through a processes of non-destructive structural re-adjustment and free of glue to do re-assembly, using a design of re-adjustable structural supporting pads and a shape memory insole to meet the needs of different foot pressures on the user, thereby alleviating pain to the user's feet, providing stability to the user's ankles and improving the balance of the lower limbs.

  • Patent number: 6892574
Abstract: An improved foot pressure testing structure which comprises a test memory mold plate, a meshed plate and an evenly distributed convex moldboard being stacked with each other on a sole, such that when a patient wears the foot pressure testing structure and walks several steps (or for several minutes) for a test, the test memory mold plate is pressed due to the weight and pressure produced by the patient and the time accumulated in such walking activity, which causes the bottom of the test memory mold plate to be attached closely to and embedded deeply into the meshed plate and the moldboard to form a concave line.
