  • Patent number: 9460359
Abstract: For predicting a target logogram, code generates a logogram prediction from a contiguous written input. In addition, the code removes a connective stroke between two connective points in the contiguous written input. The code generates a sub-logogram prediction for a sub-logogram formed by removing the connective stroke. In addition the code predicts a target logogram for the contiguous written input based on both the logogram prediction and the sub-logogram prediction.

  • Publication number: 20160259435
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and program products are disclosed for directing motion of a writing device. By use of a processor, destination data corresponding to a destination placement for a writing device is received. Current data corresponding to a current placement of the writing device is also received. A mechanism that provides tactile feedback to the writing device is controlled to direct the writing device from the current placement toward the destination placement as a function of at least the destination data and the current data.

  • Publication number: 20160239484
Abstract: For determining homonyms of logogram input, code may recognize a logogram from at least part of a written logogram drawn by a user or a typed logogram. In addition, the code may determine whether homonyms of the logogram are to be made available to the user. The code also may determine multiple logograms having a pronunciation that matches the pronunciation of the logogram if the homonyms of the logogram are to be made available to the user. The code may provide a hint list to the user that contains the multiple logograms to enable selection of a logogram from the hint list. The code may also rank the multiple logograms based on context.
