    Abstract: In a method for testing signal integrity of an electronic product using a signal integrity test apparatus, each electronic component of the electronic product includes a test label that identifies the electronic component. The signal integrity test apparatus includes a host computer, a robot device, an oscilloscope, a camera device, and a probe. The host computer is installed with a signal integrity test system that controls the signal integrity test apparatus to test signal integrity of the electronic product. The robot device includes a first robot arm and a second robot arm. The first robot arm controls the camera device to capture an image of the test label coupled to each electronic component. The second robot arm controls the probe to touch each electronic component. The oscilloscope measures voltage signals outputted from the electronic components to generate a signal integrity report of the electronic product.

    Abstract: A test control device and a method automatically test signal integrities of an electronic product. The test control device includes an oscilloscope and robot devices each holding a probe of the oscilloscope. The test control device sets test projects and locations of test points of each test project on the electronic product. The test control device selects a test project and selects probes for measuring electrical outputs at the test points of the selected test project, controls robot devices holding the selected probes to move tips of the selected probes to touch the test points, and controls the electronic product to activate the test points. The oscilloscope measures the electrical outputs at the test points through the selected probes. The test control device further obtains results of the measurements from the oscilloscope, analyzes and integrates all of the measurements, and generates a signal integrity report of the electronic product.

    Abstract: A method tests hard disk ports located on a motherboard of a computing device. Each of the hard disk ports connects to a respective serial port of a test fixture. The test fixture includes a group of serial ports, a multiplexer and a storage device. Each of the hard disk ports is selected to be tested during the process of hard disk ports test. A data transmission path is formed by building a connection between the storage device and a channel of the multiplexer corresponding to the hard disk port. Data are written to the storage device and read from the storage device through the data transmission path. The hard disk port is working normal if the written data are identical to the read data. The hard disk port is not working normally if the written data are not identical to the read data.

A related system is also disclosed.

The first converting chip and the second converting chip also cooperate to convert the flash signals to the IEEE1394 signals, the connector outputs the IEEE1394 signals through the controller.
