    Abstract: In the method and the apparatus for thermal management and control, and the vehicle according to the present disclosure, an overtemperature threshold of the vehicle may be adjusted in off-road conditions, and/or an operating temperature of the vehicle may be obtained, and driving parameters of the vehicle may be adjusted according to the operating temperature, so as to enhance the heat dissipation performance of the vehicle in the off-road conditions, and avoid that an over-temperature protection of the engine is easily triggered when the engine is operated at a high speed and a high torque in the off-road conditions, resulting in driving experience being affected by limited torque of the engine and turn-off of an air conditioning occurring in the vehicle, and driving safety also being affected, with no high-power fan and large-size radiator being additionally installed, and thus reducing weight and manufacturing cost of the vehicles.

In some aspects, a modem of a user equipment is coupled with multiple receiver paths that include an unpaired receiver path. To enable use of the unpaired receiver path in various modes of multi-channel communication, a radio link manager of the user equipment modifies configuration information of the modem to add a nonexistent receiver path to a set of receiver path parameters for a frequency band in which the unpaired receiver path is capable of operating. Along with adding the nonexistent receiver path, the radio link manager may also modify the receiver path parameters to enable the unpaired receiver path for the frequency band. The nonexistent receiver path and unpaired receiver path are then exposed for use by the modem to implement one or more multi-channel receive modes for the frequency band.

As new industry standards (e.g., the Fifth Generation New Radio (5G NR) standard) are being implemented, more TDD bands are becoming available for wireless communications. Generally, manufacturers will add additional antenna systems for each TDD band, but this method may become costly and need extra space, which is already limited, within the user device In various aspects, the concurrent communication system includes a radio frequency (RF) modem module configured to operate on multiple TDD bands, which may include bands that are located near each other on the RF spectrum. The concurrent communication system further includes transceiver circuitry with at least one transmission chain and at least four reception chains. The architecture of this system offers an efficient and inexpensive way to communicate on at least two TDD bands concurrently with reduced hardware cost.
