Abstract: This specification describes systems, methods, devices, and other techniques for a group of clients to engage in a privacy-centric discussion by exchanging private messages pseudonymously and anonymously. In the formal setting where the discussion is to negotiate an agreement or contract and to work toward a formal document agreed upon by all participants, the final concluding document or contract is to explicitly contain the identities of all participants with documentary evidence, including all participants' signature authenticated by a third-party service, to reduce mistaken identity and its adverse effect on contractual validity. Both the content of the final document and the proof of authentication for each participant remain private to the discussion group in encrypted form, decodable by those participants owning the authenticated identities. The final document can be recorded on a trustless blockchain-based repository.

In some implementations, a computing system includes a client proxy system and a push server system. The client proxy system is configured to obtain requests issued from a client device and responses to requests issued by a surrogate browser of a push server system. The client proxy system matches responses from the push server system with requests from the client device to determine responses to the requests from the client device.

Abstract: An input device for providing multi-dimensional spatial input data to a computer is disclosed. The device incorporates multiple independently operable locating members or input mechanisms, such as a roller ball for entry of two translational coordinates, a thumb wheel for entry of a third translational coordinate, and a trackball for entry of three rotational coordinates. The input mechanisms are also available for performing additional or alternative functions. The input mechanisms may be configured in several arrangements, while a single unified interface is presented to the host computer regardless of the configuration. In an additional embodiment, a seventh degree of freedom can be provided by sensing rotation of the housing containing the locating members.
