  • Patent number: 9562725
Abstract: A heat dissipating device includes a base, a heat pipe disposed on the base, and a plurality of first and second heat dissipating fins. Each first heat dissipating fin includes a fin body having a first through hole for extension of the heat pipe therethrough. The first and second heat dissipating fins are mounted on the heat pipe in a stack and in a spaced-apart alternating arrangement. Each second heat dissipating fin includes a fin body having a second through hole for extension of the heat pipe therethrough, two adjacent lateral edges, and a cut edge interconnecting the lateral edges such that each second heat dissipating fin has a smaller area than each first heat dissipating fin. Thus, the flow field resistance of the heat dissipating device can be reduced to increase the amount of airflow through the heat dissipating device for enhancing the heat dissipating efficiency.

PLD and high kinetic energy impingement of atoms may replace or add atoms in the exposed regions, and a plurality of the exposed regions may be converted concurrently. The process may be repeated one or more times on either side of the same 2D material to form any suitable combination of lateral heterojunctions and/or vertical heterojunctions, comprising semiconductors, metals or insulators or any suitable combination thereof. Furthermore, the resulting 2D material may comprise p-n, n-n, p-p, n-p-n and p-n-p junctions, or any suitable combination thereof.

  • Patent number: 9516984
Abstract: A positioning system comprises a sweeper and a positioning device arranged on a ceiling. The sweeper has a lighting component for emitting light. The positioning device at least has a height measuring unit and a plurality of light-sensitive units. The positioning device measures a vertical distance between the positioning device and a floor through the height measuring unit. The positioning device receives the light emitted from the emitting light of the sweeper through the light-sensitive units, and calculates an oblique distance between the positioning device and the sweeper based on different strengths of the light respectively received from each of the plurality of light-sensitive units. Therefore, the positioning device can calculates a parallel distance between the positioning device and the sweeper based on the vertical distance and the oblique distance, and further determines a related position of the sweeper opposite to the positioning device.

  • Publication number: 20160321276
Abstract: Data to be moved from a source system to a target system, for a set of tenants, is first identified. The data is enumerated by a first computing instance in the source system to obtain an enumeration list. Data is copied from the source system to the target system based on the enumeration list by a second computing instance. The data in the source and target systems is then enumerated by a third computing instance to determine whether any data is still to be moved and another enumeration list is generated. The data still to be moved is then moved based on the other enumeration list.
