  • Patent number: 11224141
Abstract: A server rack system includes a plurality of servers, a plurality of power supply units for supplying power to the servers, and a microcontroller electrically connected to the servers and the power supply units. The microcontroller is configured to determine a number of those of the servers that are currently in operation, compare the number with a critical value, determine whether each of the power supply units operates normally, and control at least one of the servers that are currently in operation to operate at a lower operating frequency when the number is greater than the critical value and at least one of the power supply units operates abnormally.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 25, 2020
Date of Patent: January 11, 2022
    Assignee: MITAC COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION

  • Patent number: 10426602
Abstract: The present invention provides a device and method for inserting an IOL into an eye of a patient. The IOL injector is configured to automatically load an IOL into the injector by folding and aligning the IOL into a lens cartridge of the injector without manual manipulation of the IOL by the physician during the procedure. The injector is configured to properly orient and align the IOL within the injector and maintain proper alignment throughout delivery of the IOL to the eye of a patient and thereby ensuring that the IOL is properly positioned and oriented at a predetermined location in the eye.

  • Patent number: 7975154
Abstract: A controlling circuit for a communication port having a ring indicator (RI) pin is provided. The controlling circuit includes a first selection circuit and a second selection circuit. The first selection circuit is controlled by a basic input/output system (BIOS) for determining whether an RI signal is transmitted to the RI pin. The second selection circuit is controlled by the BIOS for determining whether a first voltage or a second voltage is transmitted to the RI pin.

  • Publication number: 20100318814
Abstract: A point of sales (POS) terminal apparatus including a POS device, a peripheral device, which is controlled by the POS device, an adapter, and a power management device is provided. The adapter provides a first power signal based on a wall-outlet power signal. The power management device provides the first power signal to drive the POS device and determines whether the first power signal satisfies a predetermined condition. When the first power signal fails to satisfy the predetermined condition, the power management device generates a second power signal and drives the peripheral device with the second power signal. When the first power signal satisfies the predetermined condition, the power management device drives the peripheral device with the first power signal.
