  • Patent number: 5986227
Abstract: A deadlock prevention device of a keyswitch key includes a keycap and a base between which a scissors-like linkage mechanism is deformably received. The scissors-like linkage mechanism has a slidable and rotatable member formed at an intermediate portion thereof for deformation in response to a depression on the keycap. Therefore, the deadlock prevention device of the keyswitch key prevents the keyswitch key from deadlocking during operation.

  • Patent number: 5950810
Abstract: An elastic apparatus used in a keyswitch key of a keyboard includes a bell-shaped shell having a top plate from which a receptacle extends upward for engaging with a keycap and from which an impacting portion projects downward and a base flange radially extends from a bottom peripheral edge of the bell-like shell for exerting a resilient force when the keycap is depressed to cause deformation of the elastic apparatus. A keyswitch key using the elastic apparatus is also disclosed for activating and deactivating a circuit unit which is positioned a predetermined distance below the impacting portion of the elastic device in an undepressed status and which is depressed by the impacting portion of the elastic device during depression of the keycap.

  • Patent number: 5795184
Abstract: An interface device (24) includes a plurality of passageways (30) extending therethrough for receiving therein a corresponding number of conductors (100) wherein all of the tails (102) of the conductors (100) extend outward to be exposed to an open exterior for easy access for examination or rework. The passageways of the interface device (24) are adapted to receive the contact tails (16) of both of the stacked memory card connectors (12, 14). The conductors (100) of device (24) are arranged to have two-row conductors (100) become one-row tail (102) extending outward on one side of the housing (26) of the device (24) whereby through the interface device (24), the stacked memory card connectors (10) can be electrically engaged therewith for electrically connecting to the mother board (200).

  • Patent number: 5667396
Abstract: A memory card connector includes a pair of guide frames and a connector head. The ejection mechanism of the memory card connector comprises a top cover plate that has a pair of arms each extending from one end thereof for engaging one corresponding pair of guide frames. The top cover plate has a pair of guide rings each located at one end thereof and a guide sliding space formed between the guide rings. A rocker lever has a pivotal hole approximately at the center, and a guide containing opening is formed at one end. A push-out plate has a pair of sliding recessions and a pair of card pushing edges, wherein each pushing edge is located adjacent one end thereof and a guide rod formed between the sliding recession. A push rod has a rocker lever engaging slot at one end thereof. The pivotal hole of the rocker lever receives one of the guide ring shaft formed by the guide rings. The guide containing opening receives the guide rod of the push-out plate.
