    Abstract: In a multi-session imaging study, information from a previous imaging session is stored in a Binary Large Object (BLOB). Current emission imaging data are reconstructed into a non-attenuation corrected (NAC) current emission image. A spatial transform is generated aligning a previous NAC emission image from the BLOB to the current NAC emission image. A previous computed tomography (CT) image from the BLOB is warped using the spatial transform, and the current emission imaging data are reconstructed with attenuation correction using the warped CT image. Alternatively, low dose current emission imaging data and a current CT image are acquired, a spatial transform is generated aligning the previous CT image to the current CT image, a previous attenuation corrected (AC) emission image from the BLOB is warped using the spatial transform, and the current emission imaging data are reconstructed using the current CT image with the warped AC emission image as prior.

    Abstract: The embodiments disclosed herein select and assign a floating IP address (FIP) to an application based on characteristics of the application. Floating IP addresses are assigned a classification, and one or more network adapters are mapped to a FIP according to the FIPs assigned classification. The endpoint of a connection for an application initiating a network connection with a target application may be assigned a floating IP address according to attributes of the application being consistent with the classification of a FIP. Applications may be grouped according to their respective classification, and the group of applications may share a corresponding FIP. FIPs may be dynamically configured for an application with mapped network adapters selected based on the atttributes of the application. An application's characteristics may change during executions, and the network adapters mapped to the FIP assigned to the application's connection may be reassigned.

In some embodiments, the data migration server may be used to access data stored on a preexisting data store to service requests from a plurality of services. A dual-write operation mode for the data migration server may then be enabled such that, in response to a given write request, the data migration server writes a given data entry to both the preexisting data store and a replacement data store. Further, a dual-read operation mode may be enabled such that, in response to a given read request, the data migration server reads a corresponding data entry from both the preexisting and replacement data stores. Configuration settings for the data migration server may then be adjusted to designate the replacement data store as the primary data store to service requests from the services.

    Abstract: A submarine optical positioning beacon system with self-generating capability, which has an array of underwater beacons. When the underwater rover moves to the vicinity of an certain underwater beacon, the underwater beacon's COMS sensor detects the underwater rover's light and then turns on the LED lamp group. The COMS sensor of the underwater rover analyzes the light species of the LED light group and converts it into digital information. The underwater rover analyzes the digital signal to obtain its location. Each underwater beacon has an independent power generation component, which generates power by utilizing ocean current, greatly increasing the working time of the beacon. The LED lamp group gives positional information feedback through the light, which can reduce the system power consumption and increase the system working duration.

    Abstract: The embodiments disclosed herein relate to using SNMP functionality for fast and accurate detection of node failure in a computer cluster. When cluster nodes are connected via a switch that provides SNMP capability, a trap mechanism can be used to immediately and proactively notify cluster nodes that a particular cluster node is disconnected from the network, potentially even before the remaining cluster nodes have noticed a lack of response. In addition, when a cluster node notices a lack of response from a particular cluster node, the switch can be queried for link status and traffic information that can be used for fast determination of node status.
