    Abstract: A container is adapted for use in a blender, and includes a surrounding wall surrounding an axis, defining a receiving space, and having an inner surface that faces the receiving space and that has spaced-apart bottom and top edges. The container further includes a plurality of turbulence ridges protruding from the inner surface of the surrounding wall into the receiving space. Each of the turbulence ridges extends from the bottom edge toward the top edge of the inner surface and extends spirally about the axis.
