  • Patent number: 9456127
Abstract: A monitoring device, system, and blur detection method of images separate a monitored area into an in-focus area and an out-of-focus area after focusing is done and then analyze the following captured images for how the blocks that makes up the in-focus area change in the blurriness and the proportion of the blocks with changed blurriness to overall blocks in the in-focus area. When the proportion of a captured image meets a specific condition, the captured image is then determined as a blur image. A consecutive number of determined blur images will trigger an auto focus procedure.

Date of Patent: September 27, 2016
    Assignee: VIVOTEK INC.

  • Patent number: 8009583
Abstract: An anticipative recursively-adjusting co-allocation mechanism (ARAM) includes the steps of: measuring a transmission bandwidth of a candidate server by a bandwidth measurement module; referring to the transmission bandwidth to calculate a recursive parameter value, and calculating a desired allocating file size of present round according to the recursive parameter value and an unassigned file size; allocating the desired allocating file size to the candidate server according to the transmission bandwidth and a transmission completion percentage of the candidate server at a previous round; performing the transmission and calculating the transmission completion percentage of each candidate server; examining the transmission completion percentage of the candidate sever; and examining whether or not an allocation of files is completed if any candidate server has completed a transmission, and looping to the next round if the file allocation has not been completed so as to enhance the data transmission performance

  • Publication number: 20100079442
Abstract: A method for displaying a video, a mobile electronic device thereof and a storage medium thereof. In the present method, first, the video is displayed on a screen of the mobile electronic device. Then, an acceleration variance of the mobile electronic device is detected through a sensor of the mobile electronic device. Next, a display area of the video in the screen is adjusted according to the acceleration variance. As a result, a user can comfortably watch the video displayed in the screen of the mobile electronic device even in an unstable state.
