The method may include: in a non-standalone formed by a first standard network and a second standard network, a terminal determining whether a communication request to be sent to the first standard network is currently present; in a case where it is determined that the communication request to be sent to the first standard network is currently present, the terminal sending the communication request to the first standard network by using either of a current uplink resource of the first standard network and a current uplink resource of the second standard network; and after the communication request is sent to the first standard network, the terminal receiving, through the first standard network, a communication response sent by the first standard network in response to the communication request.

A signal quality value of a current serving cell is obtained for many times, and a signal quality value smaller than or equal to a threshold of measurement initiation of a neighboring inter-frequency/inter-system cell is stored storing until L signal quality values are obtained; a mean signal quality value is obtained by calculation according to the obtained L signal quality values, and when the mean signal quality value is greater than a signal quality reference threshold, UE initiates the measurement of the neighboring inter-frequency/inter-system cell. By using the method and UE, the problem that UE frequently initiates measurement of a neighboring inter-frequency/inter-system cell even when UE does not move or moves a little can be solved, the power of the UE can be saved, and the radiation produced by the UE on a mobile user can be reduced.

Resource waste due to waiting is avoided and better user friendliness of a service is provided.

Abstract: A method for previewing and retrieving a video is disclosed. The method includes: (101) setting a variable-length buffer sequence; (102) acquiring and processing a video file to obtain images; (103) detecting scene shots in the obtained images and key frames of the scene shots, and storing the detected scene shots and key frames into the variable-length buffer sequence; and (104) acquiring the scene shots and key frames from the variable-length buffer sequence, matching and comparing the scene shots and key frames with a specified target image to perform image retrieval. A mobile terminal for previewing and retrieving a video is further disclosed. With the technical solution, content preview and fast retrieval of a video file are achieved in a mobile terminal with relatively limited processing capacity and memory resources.
