  • Publication number: 20220244129
Abstract: This application provides a leakage detection apparatus and a leakage detection method, to perform leakage detection on a heat exchanger core. The leakage detection apparatus includes a gas releaser, a gas sensor, and a controller. Both the gas releaser and the gas sensor are communicatively connected to the controller. The gas releaser is configured to provide tracer gas to a first flow channel of the heat exchanger core. The gas sensor is configured to: detect a tracer gas concentration in a second flow channel of the heat exchanger core, and feed back the tracer gas concentration to the controller. The controller is configured to compare the tracer gas concentration detected by the gas sensor with a concentration threshold. If the tracer gas concentration is greater than the concentration threshold, the controller determines that a leakage point exists in the heat exchanger core.
