  • Publication number: 20150057130
Abstract: A flywheel is applied to a training machine including a wheel and a driving mechanism. The wheel is used for storing rotation energy while it is driven to rotate, and the driving mechanism is used for driving the wheel to rotate. The wheel has a hollowed space at least partially filled with a weighted material, at least one metal piece fixed at a periphery of the wheel, and a magnets arranged at the outside of the wheel. A damping of the wheel is changed by adjusting the distance between the metal piece and the plurality of magnets.

  • Patent number: 8920291
Abstract: A supporting structure for a treadmill includes an outer tube, an inner tube and a spring means. The outer tube has an inner wall and a protrusion. The outer tube at where the protrusion exists has an outer-tube internal diameter r. The protrusion and the inner wall are separated by a vertical distance L. The inner tube is telescoped within the outer tube and has a positioning hole. The inner tube at where the positioning hole exists has an inner-tube external diameter R, wherein (R+L)<r. When the inner tube is parallel to the outer tube and the protrusion is aligned with the positioning hole, the spring means enters the protrusion into the positioning hole. When the inner tube is inclined with respect to the outer tube, the protrusion is disengaged from the positioning hole, allowing the inner tube to move within the accommodating space.

  • Publication number: 20130237383
Abstract: A treadmill includes a tread platform and a tread platform support with a foot rail pivotally connected to the tread platform and selectively set between a first position and a second position to support the tread platform in a standing posture. When the tread platform support is set in the first position, a strut device of the tread platform and swivel casters of the tread platform support are stopped at the ground to hold the treadmill vertically and positively on the ground. When the tread platform support is set in the second position, two directional rollers of the tread platform and the swivel casters are attached to the ground, enabling the treadmill to be moved easily in any direction. Further, the user can step one leg on the foot rail to shift the position of the tread platform support steadily and safely.
