  • Patent number: 12437146
Abstract: A storage format of Chinese language (“Readable Hanyu Expression” or “RHE”) and the related processing methods and systems. Unlike current Chinese processing methods which directly code Chinese characters into fonts for display, RHE takes an indirect approach by storing Chinese language in the RHE storage format that can be mapped to several display forms including simplified and traditional Chinese characters, Hanyu Pinyin, etc. In the RHE storage format, each Chinese word is stored as an RHE storage element having the format (Syllable+Tone)n+Mark, where n is the number of syllables (Chinese characters) in the word, Syllable represents the pronunciation (without the tone) of the character, Tone represents the tone of the pronunciation, and Mark is a value that differentiates different words having the same pronunciations and tones. Various mapping tables are used to map RHE storage elements to standard Chinese character codes (such as Unicode) and Pinyin expressions.

  • Publication number: 20250293709
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for FGPA-based burst-error performance and optimization of regular and irregular SD-LDPC codes for 50G-PON/100G-PON and beyond. In particular, the burst-error performance of the regular low-density parity-check (LDPC) code is evaluated and the irregular LDPC code that has been considered for ITU-T's 50G-PON standard via experimental measurements in FPGA. By using intra codeword interleaving and parity-check matrix rearrangement, it is demonstrated that the BER performance can be improved under ˜44-ns-duration burst errors for 50 Gb/s/100 Gb/s upstream signals.

  • Patent number: 11489622
Abstract: A controller to communications between a baseband unit (BBU) and a remote radio head (RRH) in a mobile fronthaul (MFH) network. The controller to initialize a pseudorandom seeding in the BBU and RRH and to cause the BBU and RRH to generate a pair of matching pseudorandom bit sequences (PRBS) to enable the BBU and RRH to synchronize communications therebetween; to select a wavelength and to select a route, through the MFH network, to enable the BBU and RRH to communicate using the selected wavelength and route; to select an error correction code and a modulation format for communications between the BBU and RRH; to encode one or more parameters of a physical layer in the MFH network into the PRBS; and to monitor a data stream between the BBU and RRH to determine if a bit error rate has changed for each frame of the data stream.
