  • Publication number: 20250013675
Abstract: A question-mining method includes obtaining a pre-built standard question database, where the standard question database includes a first standard question text, the first standard question text corresponds to a first intent category, and the first standard question text comprises a plurality of words; mining keywords of the first intent category from the plurality of words according to an importance degree of each word of the first standard question text to the first intent category, wherein the plurality of words include the keywords and non-keywords; determining a co-occurrence word of the keywords according to co-occurrence information of the keywords and the non-keywords in the standard question database; and mining a target question text from a pre-obtained target text set according to the co-occurrence word of the keywords.

  • Patent number: 10466985
Abstract: Apparatus and methods related to compiling software are provided. A computing device can receive software having software-associated instructions for compilation into machine-language instructions. The computing device can perform a class hierarchy analysis to determine a class hierarchy for the software. The computing device can determine whether a particular method call is to be checked for execution as a virtual method call based on the class hierarchy. The computing device can, after determining that the particular method call is to be checked, determine particular machine-language instructions that can include: guarding machine-language instructions for checking a runtime-modifiable deoptimization indicator to determine whether the particular method call is to be executed as a virtual method call, and method-call machine-language instructions for the particular method call. The computing device can provide the particular machine-language instructions to a runtime system.

  • Publication number: 20160196119
Abstract: Disclosed are apparatus and methods for calling software methods. A computing device can receive a request to call a software method of a class instance which can include an interface method table and a virtual method table (vtable). The interface method table can include interface method table entries, which can include a particular interface method table entry for a particular interface method of a software interface associated with the class instance. The particular interface method table entry can refer to the particular interface method. The vtable can include vtable entries, which can include a particular vtable entry for a particular virtual method associated with the class instance. The particular vtable entry can refer to the particular virtual method. The computing device can determine an entry point for the called software method based on the interface method table and/or the vtable. The computing device can call the called software method by executing instructions at the entry point.

  • Patent number: 7644409
Abstract: A technique for accessing a shared resource of a computerized system involves running a first portion of a first thread within the computerized system, the first portion (i) requesting a lock on the shared resource and (ii) directing the computerized system to make operations of a second thread visible in a correct order. The technique further involves making operations of the second thread visible in the correct order in response to the first portion of the first thread running within the computerized system, and running a second portion of the first thread within the computerized system to determine whether the first thread has obtained the lock on the shared resource. Such a technique alleviates the need for using a MEMBAR instruction in the second thread.
