  • Publication number: 20240148200
Abstract: A self-lifting toilet seat system includes a toilet seat configured to be sat upon by a user. The system has a hinge configured to rotatably couple the toilet seat and a toilet bowl. The hinge is configured so that the toilet seat is transitionable from an up position to a down position. A lifting system is configured to raise the toilet seat towards the up position. A sealed hinge housing has at least a portion of a delay system therein. The delay system is configured to cause a time delay before the lifting system causes the toilet seat to self-lift towards the up position. The delay system is configured so that the time delay begins after removal of a threshold downward force on the toilet seat.

  • Patent number: 11950733
Abstract: A self-lowering toilet seat system includes a toilet bowl and a toilet seat. The system includes a hinge rotatably coupling the toilet seat and the toilet bowl. The hinge is configured so that the toilet seat is transitionable between a down position and an up position. A lowering device is configured to self-lower the toilet seat towards the down position. A fixedly sealed hinge housing has a delay device therein. The delay device is configured to cause a seat time delay before the lowering device causes the toilet seat to lower towards the down position. The delay device is engaged by applying a seat lifting force to raise the toilet seat towards the up position and removing the seat lifting force from the toilet seat. The delay device is configured to reset the seat time delay when the lifting force is reapplied before the delay device has expired.

  • Patent number: 7652532
Abstract: The invention provides methods and devices for estimating power amplifier nonlinearity using simple correlation techniques. Methods and devices of the invention can monitor a power amplifier that has digitally modulated inputs and an output containing more than one signal stream. A preferred method of the invention creates a test signal by forming the products of several pseudorandom noise sequences from the digitally modulated inputs to the power amplifier. Nonlinear contributions of the power amplifier output are determined by cross-correlating the test signal and the total output signal of the power amplifier. In preferred embodiments, the determined nonlinear contributions of the power amplifier are used to introduce corrective predistortion in the power amplifier.
