Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing an item resolution service. Users may add entries to an electronic list (e.g., a grocery list), via voice input, text message, or other input to a mobile, desktop, or web application. The list entries may contain general descriptions (e.g., “milk,” “eggs,” “bread,” etc.) that can be associated with various items available from various suppliers. The item resolution service may determine, for individual list entries, a specific item based on factors such as the user who created the entry, the order or browsing history of that user, the geographic location of another user (e.g., a user who is currently located at a particular grocery store), or other factors. The list entries may thus be converted to items in an electronic shopping cart, which may then be ordered for delivery, in-store pickup, or presented in a manner that facilitates acquiring the items in person.

Abstract: A method for managing modules, performed by a module management apparatus, may comprise receiving a module generation request from a user; generating a module according to the module generation request and transmitting the module to the user; receiving a module registration request from the user; and registering the module according to the module registration request.

Abstract: A system for managing metadata on the basis of fetching in a big data platform includes: one or more client servers, each including a service provider configured to provide a user with application sets corresponding to different services generated by different subjects and a metadata agent configured to query or update metadata corresponding to each of the services; and a master server configured to manage the metadata corresponding to each of the services.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device of the "planar" type comprising a highly doped substrate having a doping concentration c.sub.o and an epitaxial surface layer having a carrier concentration c<c.sub.o, in which are formed a main pn junction having a depth x.sub.j and a structure of floating guard rings. According to the invention, this device also includes between the substrate and the epitaxial surface layer, a second epitaxial layer having a carrier concentration c' such that c.sub.o >c'>c. This permits the production of devices with different maximum operating voltages using the same configuration of guard rings.
