  • Patent number: 11307266
Abstract: Various examples of a high frequency, inductor and transformer core loss characterization and measurement method and system for arbitrary waveforms are disclosed herein. A system and method for determining core loss of a magnetic core can include generating a waveform to excite a first test circuit which comprises an excitation circuit, a circuit under test (CUT) comprising the magnetic core, and an inductance circuit having an inductor connected in parallel to the CUT. The method includes measuring a first current, when the first test circuit is excited. The method includes disconnecting the CUT from the first test circuit to form a second test circuit. The method includes generating the waveform to excite the second test circuit, and measuring a second current, when the second test circuit is excited. The power loss for the magnetic core is calculated based on an input voltage and the first and second measured current.

  • Patent number: 11290022
Abstract: Aspects of bidirectional architectures with partial energy processing in resonant direct current (DC)-to-DC converters are described. In one embodiment, an alternating circuit (AC)-to-DC circuit generates an AC voltage from a DC voltage. A voltage of the AC voltage is transformed into a majority AC voltage of a majority power path and at least one minority AC voltage of the minority power paths. The majority AC voltage is rectified into a majority DC voltage and a minority AC voltage is rectified into a minority DC voltage. The majority power path and the minority power path are combined as a combined DC voltage.

  • Publication number: 20190268352
Abstract: A Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) method is disclosed including a computer receiving an input file having a file format configured with a structured storage. The computer disassembles the structured storage into at least one subfile. Each subfile is a stream subfile. For each subfile, the computer identifies an item in the stream subfile. The computer analyzes the item in the stream subfile for an unwanted behavior by determining an acceptability of the unwanted behavior, distinguishing a visibility of the item, and recognizing a necessity of the item. The computer, based on a result of the analyzing step, processes the item in the stream subfile resulting in a processed subfile. The computer assembles the processed subfiles into an output file having the same file format as the file format as the input file.

  • Publication number: 20070090343
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for processing an organic memory cell. An exemplary system can employ an enclosed processing chamber, a passive layer formation component operative to form a passive layer on a first electrode, and an organic semiconductor layer formation component operative to form an organic semiconductor layer on the passive layer. A wafer substrate is not needed to transfer from a passive layer formation system to an organic semiconductor layer formation system. The passive layer is not exposed to air after formation of the passive layer and before formation of the organic semiconductor layer. As a result, conductive impurities caused by the exposure to air do not occur in the thin film layer, thus improving productivity, quality, and reliability of organic memory devices. The system can further employ a second electrode formation component operative to form a second electrode on the organic semiconductor layer.

  • Publication number: 20070029604
Abstract: The present invention facilitates dual bit memory devices and operation of dual bit memory device by providing systems and methods that employ a relatively thin undoped TEOS liner during fabrication, instead of a relatively thick TEOS layer that is conventionally used. Employment of the relatively thin liner facilitates dual bit memory device operation by mitigating charge loss and contact resistance while providing protection against unwanted dopant diffusion. The present invention includes utilizing a relatively thin undoped TEOS liner that is formed on wordlines and portions of a charge trapping dielectric layer. The relatively thin undoped TEOS liner is formed with a thickness of less than about 400 Angstroms so that contact resistance and charge loss are improved and yet providing suitable protection for operation of the device. Additionally, the present invention includes foregoing with an undoped TEOS liner altogether.
