The processing circuit can receive a request to send a gift to a recipient; verify that a first account associated with the sender includes a first value of points; determine, based on the request, a first gift value having a first gift type and a second gift value having a second gift type; and provide a first gift option to the sender device for display. The processing circuit can receive a first gift selection and provide data that causes the sender device to generate and transmit the gift message to the recipient via the second messaging application. The processing circuit can receive a request for a monetary amount in lieu of the first gift selection and authenticate the recipient device.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for performing a pay with points rewards transaction are described herein. A customer of a financial institution having a rewards account associated with a payment account can provide parameters for future transactions that are to be paid with points instead of charged to the payment account. To designate the future transaction as a rewards transaction, the customer sets rewards transaction parameters (e.g., via a mobile banking application, via an online banking portal, via a telephone system associated with the financial institution, etc.). After setting the rewards transaction parameters, the financial institution identifies a purchase request that matches the rewards transaction parameters and processes the transaction as a rewards transaction.

In one embodiment, a financial health computing system is configured to: generate a first profile for a first participant; generate a first goal for the first participant, the first goal comprising a first plurality of milestones and a first plurality of rewards; assess a participant's progress based on a first status item; and generate an advisory alert for the first participant based on the first status item. The advisory alert comprises a recommended financial health activity and is configured to accept a user input for directing an auxiliary system to perform the recommended financial health activity. The first goal and the first plurality of rewards are customized to the first participant based at least in part on the first profile.
