  • Patent number: 11961775
Abstract: In one example, a semiconductor device can comprise a substrate, a device stack, first and second internal interconnects, and an encapsulant. The substrate can comprise a first and second substrate sides opposite each other, a substrate outer sidewall between the first substrate side and the second substrate side, and a substrate inner sidewall defining a cavity between the first substrate side and the second substrate side. The device stack can be in the cavity and can comprise a first electronic device, and a second electronic device stacked on the first electronic device. The first internal interconnect can be coupled to the substrate and the device stack. The encapsulant can cover the substrate inner sidewall and the device stack and can fill the cavity. Other examples and related methods are disclosed herein.

  • Publication number: 20240055303
Abstract: A fabricating method for a test element group is provided. The fabricating method for a test element group includes fabricating test areas generated in a scribe lane area, wherein fabricating of the test areas includes forming a plurality of fins protruding in a first direction on a substrate, covering at least some of the plurality of fins with a masking material, and performing selective epitaxial growth by injecting a gas onto the plurality of fins. The gas is not injected onto the at least some of the plurality of fins that are covered with the masking material, such that the epitaxial growth does not occur on the fins covered with the masking material.

  • Patent number: 6699689
Abstract: The present invention relates to DNA constructs that can produce antimicrobial materials efficiently from microorganisms and the preparation method thereof. The present invention also relates to the useful vector for the DNA construct. The DNA construct according to the present invention comprises a first gene coding for entire, a part of or a derivative of purF gene and a second gene coding for antimicrobial peptide. According to the present invention, antimicrobial peptides can be mass-produced by the following steps: preparing an expression vector containing a DNA construct comprising a first gene coding for an entire, a part of or a derivative of purF gene and a second gene coding for antimicrobial peptide; transforming the bacterial host cells with the above-mentioned vector, culturing the transformed cell to express the above-mentioned DNA construct; and recovering the above antimicrobial peptide.

  • Patent number: 6183992
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for mass production of an antimicrobial peptide, which comprises the steps of: constructing a fusion gene containing a first gene encoding a negatively charged acidic peptide having at least two cysteine residues and a second gene encoding a positively charged basic antimicrobial peptide; transforming a host microorganism with an expression vector comprising the fusion gene; cultivating the transformed microorganism to express a fusion peptide containing the acidic peptide and antimicrobial peptide, and, recovering the expressed antimicrobial peptide. In accordance with the present invention, the inhibitory effect of the expressed antimicrobial peptide on the growth of the host microorganism can be dramatically minimized by fusing it with the acidic peptide. Accordingly, antimicrobial peptides can be produced massively from a recombinant microorganism regardless of the kind of the antimicrobial peptides.
