  • Publication number: 20220328901
Abstract: This application relates to the field of battery power technologies and provides a battery and an electric device. The battery includes a battery cell, a thermal management apparatus and an insulation assembly. The thermal management apparatus and the insulation assembly are disposed on the battery cell. The battery cell is provided with an electrode terminal, the insulation assembly is connected to the electrode terminal, and the insulation assembly isolates the electrode terminal from the thermal management apparatus, thus avoiding impact on the electrode terminal by condensed water produced during operation of the thermal management apparatus, which improves safety of the battery.

  • Publication number: 20220021070
Abstract: An embodiment of the present application provides a battery pack and a device. The battery pack includes a battery module, a heat exchange member, a flow guide piece and a heat-conducting connecting piece. The battery module includes a plurality of batteries. Each battery is provided with an explosion-proof valve. The heat exchange member includes a heat exchange plate. The heat exchange plate is connected to the plurality of batteries through the heat-conducting connecting piece, and the heat exchange plate at least partially covers each explosion-proof valve. The flow guide piece is arranged between the plurality of batteries and the heat exchange plate, the flow guide piece is provided with a positioning hole penetrating in a height direction of the battery pack, and the positioning hole exposes the corresponding explosion-proof valve. The flow guide piece separates the corresponding explosion-proof valve from the heat-conducting connecting piece.

  • Patent number: 11133543
Abstract: A thermal management device and a battery pack are provided. The thermal management device applied in a battery pack. The battery pack includes a case and a plurality of cells received in the case. The thermal management device includes: a thermal management loop attached to each cell and at least partially covering a part of a vent of each cell; a heat exchange member communicating with the thermal management loop; and a power component connected between the thermal management loop and the heat exchange member. A heat exchange medium with a fire-extinguishing function is provided within the thermal management loop. The thermal management loop is broken in a condition where at least one cell is subjected to thermal runaway such that the heat exchange medium flows into an explosion-proof port of the at least one cell.

  • Patent number: 10704929
Abstract: In a general aspect, a position tracking system includes a sphere magnet that produces a magnetic field in a space. A magnetic field control system is configured to change the magnetic field by rotating the sphere magnet through a time-series of rotations over a time period. A position marker includes a magnetic field sensor that is configured to measure the magnetic field in the space during the time period. A data processing apparatus is configured to determine the position of the position marker based on magnetic field measurements obtained by the magnetic field sensor in the space during the time period.

  • Patent number: 10276289
Abstract: In a general aspect, a position detection system includes a magnetic field generator configured to generate a time-varying magnetic field. The magnetic field generator includes a carrier assembly that defines a first axis of rotation and comprises a permanent magnet having a center of mass. The magnetic field generator also includes a drive assembly that is coupled to the carrier assembly and configured to act on the carrier assembly to rotate the permanent magnet simultaneously about the first axis of rotation and a second axis of rotation. The second axis of rotation intersects the first axis of rotation at an intersection that is offset from the center of mass of the permanent magnet. The position detection system additionally includes a computer device configured to determine a position of a sensor based on magnetic field measurements obtained by the sensor in the time-varying magnetic field.
