  • Publication number: 20250256113
Abstract: A filtered feedthrough comprises an insulator sealed in a ferrule opening. A terminal pin sealed in an insulator via hole has a first end that extends outwardly beyond an insulator device side. A filter capacitor has a square- or rectangularly-shaped dielectric supporting interleaved active and ground electrode plates. A passageway extending through the dielectric has an internal metallization. An external metallization is contacted to opposed longitudinal sides of the dielectric outer surface. The capacitor ground electrode plates extend to the opposed external metallizations. The outwardly extending terminal pin end is connected to the internal metallization in the dielectric passageway which in turn is connected to the active electrode plates. A conductive material connects the capacitor external metallization at one of the longitudinal sides to an oxide-resistant surface on the ferrule while the other external metallization is connected to an oxidized surface of the ferrule.

  • Publication number: 20250255655
Abstract: The invention is a construct consisting of a fully-threaded screw with an attached locking bolt that secures the posterior pelvis in a transiliac transsacral fashion, in the setting of an unstable posterior pelvic ring fracture. One part of the implant is a cannulated screw that has two pitches of different threads, which is placed over a guidewire and secured on the opposite side with a cannulated locking bolt that affixes to the screw. Washers on either side of the implant provide compression, and cancellous threads across the length provide fixation within the sacrum and the iliac bones on either side. This invention provides added strength and stability compared to current fixation methods consisting of screws in isolation.

  • Publication number: 20250255672
Abstract: A method for optimizing a knee arthroplasty surgical procedure includes receiving pre-operative data comprising (i) anatomical measurements of the patient, (ii) soft tissue measurements of the patient's anatomy, and (iii) implant parameters identifying an implant to be used in the knee arthroplasty surgical procedure. An equation set is selected from a plurality of pre-generated equation sets based on the pre-operative data. During the knee arthroplasty surgical procedure, patient-specific kinetic and kinematic response values are generated and displayed using an optimization process. The optimization process includes collecting intraoperative data from one or more surgical tools of a computer-assisted surgical system, and using the intraoperative data and the pre-operative data to solve the equation set, thereby yielding the patient-specific kinetic and kinematic response values. A visualization is then provided of the patient-specific kinetic and kinematic response values on the displays.

  • Publication number: 20250255675
Abstract: Extended reality systems and methods for use in a surgical procedure involve a head-mounted device (HMD) comprising an HMD display positionable in front of a user's eyes and a sensing system to sense control inputs of the user. Controller(s) coupled to the HMD receive control inputs from the sensing system to establish a pose of a view coordinate system in which to present a virtual object (e.g., a virtual information panel) related to the surgical procedure. The pose can be established using a virtual alignment guide. The controller(s) define the view coordinate system relative to a world coordinate system after the pose of the view coordinate system is established. The controller(s) recognize surgical information, and in response, automatically present the virtual object on the HMD display combined with a real-world view and at a predetermined position and orientation within the view coordinate system.
