    Abstract: In one embodiment, an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: a display; a probe; and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry acquires an appearance image of an object that is scheduled to undergo dialysis, generates a 3D image from an echo signal acquired by the probe, the 3D image containing a plurality of frame images depicting inside of the object and positional information of each of the plurality of frame images, extracts a blood-vessel image depicting a blood vessel inside the object from the 3D image, generates a composite image of the appearance image and the blood-vessel image by aligning the appearance image and the blood-vessel image, and causes the display to display the composite image.
