    Abstract: A cigarette in combination with a snuffer wherein according to the invention the cigarette is provided with an extinguishing sleeve of incombustibilized paper or incombustible material such as aluminum foil so that a smoker can extinguish the remaining stub by wrapping it up with said sleeve, or by drawing the stub out of a cylindrical cavity formed within said extinguishing sleeve and thereafter thrusting the lit portion of said stub into said cylindrical cavity.
