  • Publication number: 20060072227
Abstract: A magnetic transfer method for performing magnetic transfer is provided wherein magnetic transfer is performed by conjoining and holding in surface-to-surface contact by a holder a transfer master medium, on which transfer data is borne, and a slave medium, to which the transfer data is transferred, and by applying a transfer magnetic field to the transfer master medium held in the holder by a magnet disposed facing to a recordable surface of the slave medium. The holder and the magnet are held movable relative to each other in the direction of the normal to the recordable surface of the slave medium. The distance between the holder and magnet as seen in the direction of the normal is adjusted when magnetic transfer is performed.

  • Publication number: 20060027432
Abstract: A one-way damper includes a cylindrical housing, a viscous fluid contained within the housing, a rotor rotatably disposed in the housing, and a valve body. The rotor has a center part for forming a rotational center, and a control wall extending radially outwardly from the center part for dividing an inside of the housing. The control wall has a distribution path. The valve body has a holding part for holding the center part, and a free edge part extending from one side of the holding part for opening-and closing the distribution path. A seal member prevents the viscous fluid from leaking between the housing and the rotor.

  • Patent number: 5868340
Abstract: A photo film cassette includes a spool for winding the photo film thereabout, and a cassette shell for containing the spool in a rotatable manner. The spool has first and second ends disposed to appear outside the cassette shell. To manufacture the photo film cassette, a cassette shell with the spool is retained while confronting a drive shaft with the first end and confronting a support shaft with the second end. The support shaft is slid in an axial direction, to support the second end. The spool is displaced via the support shaft to a braked state where rotation of the spool is blocked. The spool is displaceable between the braked state and a released state. The drive shaft is rotated and slid while the spool is in the braked state, to engage the drive shaft with the first end in a key-engaged manner. After the drive shaft is engaged with the first end, the spool is displaced from the braked state to the released state.

  • Patent number: 5461787
Abstract: A filament-type trimming apparatus comprises a reel case including a main body and a bottom member, a cord reel housed in the reel case and which is wound with a nylon cord, plural stoppers on a lower surface of the cord reel and on an inside of the bottom member and which become engaged when the cord reel is pressed downward by a coil spring, a mechanism for releasing a centrifugal force of the cord reel and which is provided between the cord reel and the bottom member and which comprises radial guide grooves and balls arranged inside the guide grooves, and plural stoppers on an upper surface of the cord reel and on an inner surface of the reel case respectively and which become engaged when the cord reel is pressed upward resisting against the pressing force of the coil spring. A boss is provided inside the reel case main body at its center and to which the coil spring is fixed.

  • Patent number: 4415195
Abstract: Automobile windows on both sides of the vehicle are curved inwardly and arcuately toward the top of the compartment and are made separate from the doors and slidably abutted at least at the front edges on the support frame for the windshield, at least either of the side windows being made openable by sliding them upwardly. When opened, they are accommodated in recesses formed for that purpose in the roof that covers a middle part of the ceiling space above the car body. Alternatively, the windows extend toward each other until their upper edges overlap along the central longitudinal line of the ceiling space above the car body, the windows being made slidable relative to each other, one over the other in a superposed relation, so that either window, when opened, is partly or fully superposed, as desired, parallelly over or under the other.
