  • Publication number: 20020057065
Abstract: A control device for a plurality of rotating electrical machines has a single current control device with an inverter, gate driver, and a motor controller, which supplies a control current to each rotating electrical machine allowing rotation control in response to the rotational phase of the rotor. In this control device, the current control device determines the control current of each rotating electrical machine based on the target torques and rotational angular velocities of all rotating electrical machines, and supplies a composite current obtained by combining the determined control currents for each rotating electrical machine to all rotating electrical machine.

  • Patent number: 6376955
Abstract: A first rotor (9) is disposed on an inner side of a first stator (7) provided with a plurality of coils (19). A second rotor (15) is disposed on an inner side of a second stator (13) provided with a plurality of coils (21). The first rotor (9) is provided with a plurality of protruding poles made of a magnetic material not magnetized. The second rotor (15) comprises a magnet provided with a plurality of magnetic poles. The number of the poles of the second rotor (15) is different from the protruding poles of the first rotor (9). The coils (19) of the first stator (7) and the coils (21) of the second stator (13) are connected in series to an inverter (27). The microprocessor (27) calculates a first AC current with which the coils (19) of the first stator (7) generate a rotating magnetic field rotating in synchronism with the first rotor (9), and a second AC current with which the coils (21) of the second stator (13) generate a rotating magnetic field rotating in synchronism with the second rotor (15).

  • Publication number: 20020033689
Abstract: An inverter (23) generates a composite current comprising an electrical current for a first rotor (4) and an electrical current for a second rotor (3). A microprocessor (22) controls the inverter (23) so that the average value of the composite current is smaller than the sum of the average values of the respective currents.

  • Publication number: 20020017892
Abstract: A drive circuit for a motor/generator, having a first rotating electrical machine which is mainly used as a motor and a second rotating electrical machine which is mainly used as a generator, is characterized in that a booster circuit is disposed at a position where the current for rotating the first rotating electrical motor cancels out with the current generated by the second rotating electrical machine. In this manner, the booster circuit comprising small capacity elements can be used in the drive circuit for the motor/generator.

  • Publication number: 20010020805
Abstract: A first motor/generator unit (10A, 11) comprises a first rotor (42, 42B, 42C) and a first stator (40, 40A, 40B, 40C) provided with a plurality of coils. A second motor/generator unit (10B, 11) comprises a second rotor (43, 43B, 43C) and a second stator (41, 41A, 41B, 41C) provided with a plurality of coils. Providing that the number of coils in the first stator (40, 40A, 40B, 40C) is S1, the number of pairs of magnetic poles in the magnet of the first rotor (42, 42B, 42C) is P1, and the number of phases in a first alternating current which drives the first rotor (42, 42B, 42C) through the coils of the first stator (40, 40A, 40B, 40C) is M1, the coils of the first stator (40, 40A, 40B, 40C) are divided into K1 groups satisfying the equation K1=S1/M. The coils in each group are mutually connected by either a Y connection or a delta connection.

  • Patent number: 6112723
Abstract: Even when an engine rotates in the inverse direction immediately before stopping, the engine can be accurately activated. In an engine which injects fuel sequentially on the basis of an ignition order of each cylinder, a crank angle of the terminal position of the engine is stored. On the first fuel injection timing after engine activation, fuel is simultaneously injected into a cylinder which is determined from the terminal stored position and into a cylinder in a fixed positional relationship with the first cylinder. In this way, even when an engine rotates in the inverse direction immediately before stopping, fuel injection can be accurately performed at least on a cylinder into which fuel should be injected and the engine can be accurately activated.
