  • Patent number: 4423828
Abstract: An arrangement is disclosed for reducing the overall effective size of the goods storage and discharging system in an automatic vending machine. The solenoid and transmission mechanism of each goods discharging mechanism are so disposed that the discharging mechanisms of adjacent goods storage shelves may be arranged in a back-to-back relation with the solenoids and transmission mechanisms thereof laterally adjacent each other. The overall size of the vending machine may thus be substantially reduced.

  • Patent number: 4418483
Abstract: A method of manufacturing shoe sole material which is lightweight in addition to having such properties as the conventional rubber sole materials have like wear resistance and elasticity etc., in a simple manner by forming the outsole and midsole layers into one piece by fusion using a mold. The mold comprises mold pieces having on their surface optional pattern and protruding stripes of the same or different pattern carved at equal intervals, and permits a streamline-shaped heel-up on the rear end of the portions which are to become heels, at the same time as forming the midsole and outsole layers into one piece by fusion.

  • Patent number: 4043111
Abstract: A time indication correcting device of a digital display timepiece, wherein upon depressing the time adjusting switch, a counter of the second digit (or the counter of the minute digit) is reset and is held in the reset state, and simultaneously therewith, the minute digit counter (or the hour digit counter) receives one pulse and is stopped after counting the pulse, and upon releasing the time adjusting switch at a predetermined time, the clock operation is started, whereby the indication of the minute digit (or the hour digit) can be corrected.

  • Patent number: 3936676
Abstract: A multi-level voltage supply for liquid crystal display devices employs complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors. The supply circuit proper includes a p type and an n type MOSFET which are connected in series with each other. A plurality of n-type MOSFETs are grouped together in pairs with their source and gate electrodes connected together and being connected in parallel with the first-mentioned n-type MOSFET. A plurality of voltage levels are applied to the circuit, the lowest of which is applied to the first-mentioned n-type MOSFET. Intermediate voltage levels are applied to the plural parts of n-type MOSFETs. Multi-level voltages for driving the liquid crystal display devices are provided at the connection point of the P-type MOSFET and the N-type MOSFETs of the plurality. As a result, it is possible to prevent the flow of a D.C. current between the lowest level voltage source and the intermediate level voltage source.
