  • Patent number: 11936210
Abstract: A power transmission apparatus includes a controller that controls a power transmitter that performs wireless power transmission. The controller is configured to: cause the processor to: cause the power transmitter to emit a first power transmission beam for which a first power is set; acquire feedback information on a result of reception of the first power transmission beam in a power reception apparatus; identify a power receiving capability in the power reception apparatus; and determine, with reference to the power receiving capability and the reception result, a second power which is usable in wireless power supply for the power reception apparatus and which is larger than the first power. The power receiving capability includes a maximum value of an input power range of the power reception apparatus. The wireless power transmission uses an electromagnetic wave having a frequency equal to or higher than that of a microwave.

  • Patent number: 11855354
Abstract: A microstrip antenna corresponds to a rectangular resonator. The resonator has first and second sides being parallel to a first direction and having a length corresponding to 3/2 wavelength, and has a shape notched from each of the first and second sides toward a center of the resonator. The antenna includes: a first portion constituting a periphery of the notched shape; and second and third portions facing each other across the first portion. The notched shape allows the first portion to contribute to a radiation characteristic. The first, second, and third portions each have a length corresponding to ½ wavelength in the first direction. The first portion has a width in the second direction that is narrower because of the notched shape than that of the second and third portions. The second or third portion is provided with a feeding point.

  • Publication number: 20230402881
Abstract: A power transmission apparatus according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a control unit that controls a power transmitting unit that performs wireless power transmission. The control unit causes the power transmitting unit to radiate a power transmission beam for supplying electrical power to a target power reception apparatus in accordance with a control parameter related to a radiation direction and a beam shape of the beam. The control unit refers to a position of an edge in an image obtained by photographing a periphery of the target power reception apparatus and monitoring entry of a biological body or an object with respect to a no-entry region that is created in a periphery of a path of the beam. The control unit stops radiation of the beam when entry of a biological body or an object with respect to the no-entry region is detected.

  • Publication number: 20050216822
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for performing data transfer that can ensure QoS of data transmitted and received are provided. IEEE802.1p priority tags as priority identifiers are set under control of a tag managing terminal. A priority tag is set for a data flow to be subjected to priority processing, for example, to be guaranteed QoS so as to prevent duplicate use of a queue in a communication control apparatus such as a switch or the like connected to a network. The tag managing terminal for example converts a queue use state in intra-subnetwork communication into a table, and retains the table. In response to a queue request from each terminal, the tag managing terminal refers to the table and then assigns a tag. The communication control apparatus such as the switch or the like that executes data transfer control prevents duplicate queue generation for data flows to be subjected to priority processing only by processing using the priority table associating tags with queues.

  • Publication number: 20020071434
Abstract: A system capable of transmitting data in accordance with importance degree of data to be transmitted and received is provided. In the case of transmitting an IP packet of an MPEG picture, for example, as data which are transmitted by way of a network, a priority in accordance with an importance degree is set as header information by identifying which one of I picture, P picture, and B picture of an MPEG picture is contained in the packet. To put it in concretely, in the case in which the packet contains the I picture having a high importance degree at the time of reproducing MPEG, a bit is set in TOS by setting the priority, which is set in a TOS field of the IP header, as a high priority and by setting as a low priority for the case in which data in the packet are B pictures only. The possibility of disappearance and delay of the I picture having the high priority is reduced in the network, and it comes to be possible to accurately reproduce in the side of receiving.
